Yeah this is bonkers. Starting to consider what FD said and unloading some at $3...

Also as I mentioned the target date for the smart contracts is September 12th. There is no telling how high it will run between now and then so I'm not saying necessarily to buy or sell, just be on your toes because this is going to be a volatile time. I'm not even going to try to predict it, Im just going to hedge my bets both ways and hope for the best.

Apparently RIOT had its earnings today and crushed them. Currently up 3% AH after closing the day up 4%.

I'm up officially over 1000% now that I've breached 150k. And while most of that has been off here, I might never have gotten started if not for constantly seeing the first few stock topics!

P.S. I still think GVSI (or one of the other George Sharp stocks, GOFF or SRNW) is a millionaire maker in waiting. Throw some money at it if you haven't and thank me when it is a crypto merger after all

I've taken some rides with Uber recently, and I've noticed that the price discount to taxis, which used to be about 50%, has in some situations completely disappeared. In fact I took a taxi a couple times because it was cheaper than Uber!

I've been looking at getting into this stock, because I still think the concept is genius and should be extremely profitable. I don't understand how it is they are losing money when they've shifted their core expenses (the car and labor) onto drivers. But they're also doing a new offering so it seems they may be feeling squeezed for cash. Not sure what's up.

It is clear that the penny stocks are the way to go if you want triple digit gains (or in Blurs case, quadruple). They are super risky and Im thankful that my broker doesnt allow the trading of them. But with the right knowledge, it seems you can really do yourself a world of good.

Uber and Lyft seem like dying breeds to me, I dont know. They were a hot topic for a while but if they are just as expensive as taxis then whats the draw?

Convenience. The only places I know of in the USA where it's easy to hail a taxi are (1) airports, (2) upscale hotels with taxi stands, and (3) Manhattan.

Well, most of my gains haven't really been from penny stocks. Or not the 5 cent penny stocks you're thinking of anyway. Most of my gains are from stocks in the $1 to $10 range. I still don't have that much interest in penny stocks overall, I think Metal_DK is the go to guy for those. Custodianships are a whole different beast though.

Normally I'd never hold a penny stock for longer than like a few days for example, and I'd just trade the hype. Sure, you can trade the hype on custodianships as there are very clear inflection points (announcement, going current, ultimately the merger being the three biggest), but unless the custodian is a scammer and a company is never brought in, getting in early and going long is probably the way to go for the big bucks.

You know what's really crazy is I legit considered YOLOing (or like 75% YOLOing) my port in GVSI in the double zeros. Utterly absurd how rich I'd be if I did that lol. As irresponsible as it would have been, I regret not doing it. I would have of course sold half upon doubling with a high stakes trade like that, and it doubled only a few days after I first bought too. So that would've only been a few sleepless nights! Oh well, still have faith George Sharp will make us longs filthy rich shortly.

Also one more crazy fact about my trading career: I'll have to check, but I'm almost certain I've been in about 10 trades now that were over 100% gains, and a lot of those I butchered. My biggest problem early on was not selling on huge days (and I still suffer from that a bit, honestly). I'm sure some of you remember that day with AVCT. It still made me an absurd amount of money in the long run, but that was like 4 or 5 months of waiting later. So my gains really should be even crazier than they are! Everyone's gotta learn lessons the hard way in the market though.

Paper handed out of GME. I bought in 2 @ $191.00 and almost gave up and would have sold for a loss. Sold at $208.43. Probably going to buy a share of VOO or something, I shouldn't really play with memes anymore.

So 10 counting AVCT and AVCTW as one. I'm also obviously not counting stocks that ran 100% before or after I got in. XELA and GME for example are two stocks I was in but never had a chance to sell for 100% gains, because I never stayed in either long enough. And IEA is a stock that blew up way before I got in, even though I knew about it pretty early, so obviously not counting those either.

That one is up 400% in one month. You raking it in?

about 120k total profit if i sold it all right now (and at the current price). Sold out a fair bit already which almost covers my principle so lookin decent so far. Overbought according to short term metrics so it might dip a bit and hopefully hover in the 4s if a sell off occurs. I think this one could reach a dime + though.

Hot damn I should have bought RGBP when it was seeing its dark days. That said, I woke up to a very, very nice 7k profits in GSMG this morning with the news. Considering I just bought a few days ago, I took the quick, easy money and ran!

Now give me a nice ~.045 GVSI dip before the pink current announcement and all is right with the universe.

MILE has been a real disaster for me. Now down 71% on the shares and 66% on the warrants. I've been adding more on the way down and the loss on the initial batch only would be over 80% I think.

I guess this is what it feels like to hold a bag.

How far were you letting it drop before adding more and how much were you adding relative to your original investment? If the original investment is down 80 and your overall is down 71 then you didn't average your price down very much?

I first bought in February around $20 and have been buying some of the drops since then, but most of the purchases were earlier on and north of $10. Last purchase was at $4.80, a couple weeks ago, and it fell below $4 today.

But I don't do dollar cost averaging for the purpose of mechanically getting my average down. That leads to putting too much money into one stock.

Now if I remember, September historically has a pretty big pullback. So I think I'll trim some.of my recent rising holdings and look to add back next month. Of course, this is with one year of experience so who knows.

eh september is frequently when a lot of stocks start the runs. Sept through Feb is usually the biggest time for volume.

September to May is historically where all the gains come from. The Summer is flat. That said, big crashes historically have happened in September and October.

It's a Chinese company and I don't trust China to not nationalize anything at any moment.

I mean, that doesn't mean I wouldn't invest anything, but that is 100% of why I wouldn't throw everything at it
