I wouldn't say I support Rodgers "over" the Packers, but, as a Packers fan, I don't hate him. Circumstances in the NFL and NBA have proven that, in this day and age, if you're a sports superstar you can go to a team and get whatever and whoever you want to win a championship. I also think there's probably stuff beyond what we've heard about the culture there. Basically, I think he just wants out, and he wants to go to a team that'll say "tell us what you want and we'll do it." He also is very obviously thinking about a Michael Strahan-esque career beyond football, and Green Bay isn't exactly the best place to play for that.

Does all of this kind of screw over the team this season? Yeah, so I get why people are mad. But I can't say I blame him.

Yeah tbh this sounds like it's been brewing for a while, and I would at least hope that rodgers gave the FO a chance to rectify their mistakes and they obviously didn't do it enough to his liking. I think there had to be at least a small inkling that "hey if we keep doing stuff this guy doesn't like he might bite back."

I was one of the few people that supported Favre over the Packers back in the day when things got ugly between them. This time around though, I do not support Rodgers over the Pack. I just want it to get resolved one way or another so we can move forward.

And Go Bucks tonight! The Suns have their backs against the wall now, which is always dangerous. Let's hope for a good fight and another close finish! (preferably in the Bucks favor)

That first post there about every type of thing that has been called is a copy paste from R/NBA. One of dozens like it, I preferred that one cause it broke it down. So everyone is noticing.(he did not have a Suns flair, most people with those posts dont.

This was probably their best chance at a championship though. Sucks.

Depending on how the off season shapes up I expect the Suns back in the playoffs next year.

Yeah, its really unfair to you to get screwed over because of Silvers get a small market team a title initiative. Especially since apparently Lilliard is trying to force his way to the LAkers or Warriors next Year, which would close that window pretty quickly

The LAkers probably werent East, the Jazz have never won. I dont believe St. Louis has won since theyve left St. Louis, and even if they did, St. Louis had to be East, right?

I havent blamed the refs in years. This year every series was just beyond blatant.

I'm just so happy the Bucks won. Happy for Giannis. Happy for our city. First time the city of Milwaukee (either basketball or baseball) has clinched a finals victory at home. 65,000 people estimated to be outside the stadium. Just crazy pandemonium. You know Milwaukee's reputation for drinking too. It's going to be wild downtown tonight.

The only reason I feel a little bad is that I couldn't vilify the Suns. They seem like a good team that would be easy to root for, with good fans. Both teams were in desperate need of a championship, but only one could win it.

I may be selfish, but I'd love to get a few more. As long as we have Giannis, we will be in contention.

I have issues with the LeBron Goat comparisons obviously, but Ive always said that was probably the best individual finals game played. (At least in regulation, hence why I dont feel he is worthy of being in the goat debate) IMO its either that or Duncans near Quadruple Double that I believe was also a 5 by 5 game.

Hmm? I looked up all the box scores of the 50 point finals games and got:

Baylor - 17/19
Jordan - 13/18
Barry - 11/19
West - 11/13
LeBron - 10/11
Pettit - 12/15
Giannis - 17/19

So same as Baylor and Barry (in fact same % as Baylor), one less than Jordan, but the others had a fair bit less.
