People close to me make fun of me for investing in ACI (Albertsons, a grocery store chain) but it is my best performer, wow. I wish I put more than just a grand into it.

No idea what happened but my posts and topics all disappeared for a minute.

Why is Robinhood valued so highly? Like, it's valued more highly than TD Ameritrade ($21B) at about $39B. This isn't making sense, TDA is much more established.

Not that valuations matter much anymore, I think GME and AMC kinda proved that. Still, what the hell?

I'm sure impressive future growth is being valued into Robin Hood's price. I've never used it myself, but from what I understand, it's about as easy to download and start using as something like Venmo, and *that* probably paints it as the trading platform of the future.

Robinhood is certainly easy and it's what got me into investing. I loved it before the meme stock fiasco. I have it to thank for me getting into investing.

I just don't see the future growth making sense. Seems really hard to justify considering all the trouble they've faced in 2020 and 2021.

I kinda wish I bought HOOD but at the same time, I don't really like investing in companies I dislike and I didn't expect a meme stock surge like this.

Wondering if I should throw money in other meme stocks now.

As far as Robinhood goes, I am super bullish on brokerages but not on Robinhood in particular. Was thinking of buying a little after it dropped after the IPO, but looks like I missed the boat.

Also in typical meme stock fashion, it went up to about $70. I noticed that meme stocks/crypto tend to top out near $69 (for AMC or $0.69 for Dogecoin) or $420 (GME looks like it topped around $482 aside from premarket) because haha funny numbers

HOOD is either going the way of AMC or going to pull a GME. I really want to think it's going to do an AMC but I have no idea anymore.

I wonder how many WSB people actually tried shorting HOOD. That seemed like a really stupid idea as it's just asking to be squeezed. I didn't think many people would actually do it but maybe they did and now are getting squeezed.

I feel like GME's 100%+ short interest is probably something we'll never see again.

I mostly saw people setting limit orders for absurdly low amount. I set a limit order for 100 shares at $5 which I of course don't expect to fill anytime soon.

Ok, looks like TD just has me at -1000 hood instead of taking it out in cash which protects me from Hood bombing. Thats good at least

One of my stocks is up 20% since spring and I'm tempted to sell but also want to stay holding onto it... it's over half of my small portfolio and i feel I should diversify more, but it's doing far better than the etf's I've got going

I know a lot of us do not believe in crypto, but heres a winning formula for those who do:

• Pick 1-2 big name cryptocurrencies and invest 50% of your funds in them
• Remaining 50% goes into blockchain stocks for you to sell options on

Of course, if you dont believe in crypto that you shouldnt do this.

Getting whiplash from HOOD. Went from down $2000 to up $1000 today.

SPCE announced their earnings today. Finally got a little revenue, but that's not the important thing. They're reopening ticket sales and pricing them at 450k and up, which is good but expected. The most important thing probably is they finished their offering, and it was an at-the-market offering. So hopefully it'll be up tomorrow.

Major test for crypto at the moment.

Bitcoin looks like it is about to burst back into bull territory, alt coins are back to March levels... If we can recover this quickly from The Crash, then these assets are going to the moon.

It should be a good August so long as more government FUD doesn't mess it all up.
