Look a lot of the old cliches dont fit anymore. Most of you are married and have houses and kids and all of that now. So Im not gonna call you neckbeards or berate you for living in your mothers basements. The number of you who earnestly fought for your very serious business anime waifus in Anagrams topic aside youre mostly normal 30somethings.

So this instead is gonna be about your fucking lack of restraint. We have been on this board our entire adult lives and many of you are still having the same fucking arguments with the same bad faith assholes you were a decade ago. Nothing good ever came from arguing with SEP or Corrik and i judge each and every one of you as being pretty god damn stupid for still doing so. And most of you still have no real hobbies or interests outside of this place.

If your main thing in life is this board like it is for some of you...yikes. That's a dark path and youre a worse person for it.

He lands a blue chipper of a young scrambling style QB in Teddy Bridgewater in a league where rookie QBs dont usually work out and in which scrambling QBs are rare unicorns these days and in which they are vastly preferable to throwing QBs. Does he take his first overall pick and start to build up a great run blocking oriented offensive line around him? Maybe eye a solid HB in RFAs? No. The moron took on assload of dead money to be rid of that QB. To go grab a veteran with a solid-ish history like Kirby Freeman, with the aim to win now?

No, the fucking moron goes out and drafts ANOTHER rookie QB, who is almost certainly not going to be as good as Bridgewater and with the remainder of his picks barely even addressed the reasons he was so shit to begin with. He doesn't even seek to shore up the offense around Largent and even is actively shopping Matt Forte. No instead he takes an OLB and a CB, both luxury positions in the first round. He better pray they all work out or hes gonna incur huge amounts of salary on these players who arent worth it or else incur even more huge chunks of dead money. Monstrous risks to take when there was prime talent available in RFA he could have landed with those picks instead, including an 88 rated CB in his late 20s if he really wanted to address that position.

There's a reason the bucs came in last place last year and if these moves dont pan out the bucs will be right back here next year.

Look this guy is so far up his own ass that he becomes pretty hard to enjoy. There was a time where he was pretty enjoyable as a complement to Claudio Catignioli in the Kings of Wrestling Tag Team. But when Claudio went to WWE and became Cesaro, hero rushed at full speed to get his Jannetty on, packing on the pounds and looking every bit like Marty's strung out, hungover self in no time.

He looked like shit and even as he finally got himself onto the NXT roster he got there with this legit striker KO master gimmick while again looking like a turd and with no legitimate fighting background.

Then he went back to the Young Buck led indies and leaned into the ironic wrestling shit. But Chris Hero is not Young Buck level and the hype for him was obnoxious. Every few weeks some match of his would get hyped up and its the same old Chris Hero being average as fuck out there.

Get a better favorite wrestler. Pick like...just about anyone.

Fucking hilarious but it makes sense. John Deere isn't a company that makes tractors and lawn tools for people who actually need them. Their target audience is bougie ass mother tuckers who could just as easily mow the lawn by hand but they wanna feel country despite making 6 figures for Wells Fargo. These people in well to do neighborhoods who still proudly tell you how many assault rifles they own and who secretly wish they had been there january 6th. They have a confederate flag bumper sticker despite growing up in wealthy suburbs of detroit or chicago.

That's the kind of person that buys a John Deere tractors and they have no idea how to repair it themselves anyway. So they'd gladly give the tractor over to John Deere to repair for them.

Oh man this topic is just the fucking worst. People like to make fun of claims that this is a really complicated subject and they're right. Its a really simple subject but that doesnt make it easy to solve.

I laugh at the pollyanna ish way in which people on the left want to handle this. Sanction Israel. Stop selling israel arms. Fuck bebe. Lets be real here - Netanyahu knows there is not tomorrow for him without a big ethnic conflict with the Palestinians so none of that is gonna even phase him and long term what will the US have gained.

I understand that the violence and images that are being seen here are jarring and you just want to feel like theres something that could be done but...well there is and none of you fuckers advocating for actions actually would support it.

You'd need to send troops and a bunch of them, some of whom would definitely die. You want the west bank secured for Palestinians in perpetuity, youd better be willing to enforce it at gunpoint. You want a two state solution? Israel has literally all of the leverage so you'd have to enforce that at gunpoint too. At which point you've just created a new Afghanistan/Iraq problem and done so in a way that forces us to be even closer to the Saudis.

Neoconservatism is the only way to get your desired results and the cost would be astronomical. And for what? Hamas is not your friend. Most of you would fucking hate having to live in a state run by them.

It sucks. Geopolitics always does. But just...know what youre asking for and that what youre advocating for is just some toothless growling. The best we can do is help the refugees and try to talk Israel out of their worst tendencies.
