And he's doing this to raise money to pay the bills. He recently lowered the tips goal to $100, then put it up to $150. If he "needs" so much money to pay his monthly bills, then why not leave the tips goal at $200 and avoid having this marathon? Wait, I know. It's because setting a ridiculous goal for the marathon (my guess is 2 or 3 thousand) will con stupid people into giving him way more money than they would during a regular stream. But if he was actually smart, he would use that money instead of wasting it the instant it comes in. The whole "tips help me because I get that money right away" philosophy illustrates his total lack of foresight. A smart man would realize that begging for a living cannot be sustained indefinitely, especially with a shrinking fan base and an aging mind that is increasingly out of touch with the world around him.
