So for this upcoming fundraising marathon, he'll be playing Fallout New Vegas, a game he's already currently playing, meaning that there's nothing special about this at all. And he's doing this to raise money to pay the bills. He recently lowered the tips goal to $100, then put it up to $150. If he "needs" so much money to pay his monthly bills, then why not leave the tips goal at $200 and avoid having this marathon? Wait, I know. It's because setting a ridiculous goal for the marathon (my guess is 2 or 3 thousand) will con stupid people into giving him way more money than they would during a regular stream. Even if he "only" gets something like $700, he still comes out ahead.
