Refuses to play guilty gear because he knows he'll get bodied.

Felt like it would be up his alley but he just wants to cling on to his sf2 days.

This is true for any game with a competative element.

He has enough muscle memory to easily get into a game a stomp first timers, so he will climb the ranks pretty fast. Then he'll be matched with equally or better skilled players who also left the lower ranks and will get his ass kicked like no tomorrow.

Phil will drop in rank, face worse players, rank will increase, rinse and repeat.

I agree, GG would be a muuuuuch better pick. I suck at fighting games, so if I jad to pick between a mechenically hard as fuck game, that has millions of strings to remember, or a game that is more player friendly, my pick would be obvious.

There is no way Phil can get away with just "one combo" gameplay.

And you can already see the more experienced players wisening up. Phil likes to start his combos with a low hit, and good players pick up on it really fast, and then wipe the floor with him.

It's kind of amazing how he refuses put the slightest amount of effort into any aspect of his streams and actually seems to take pride in the fact that he won't do the basic stuff that would make his content look appealing to potential viewers.

DSp believes he's a super special streamer and nobody else is like him. Every other streamer is a liar trying too hard to appease people. DSP is the real deal; so real he doesn't even get dressed for the stream. That's how you know he's legit: he looks like a bum and acts like one too. If you disagree have a nice lean and manual ban ack ack ack.

Phil megahinted to his fans he wants them to buy an Xbox X for him.

Whenever he does that doesn't he basically always get someone to do it?

From the known lore (but take this with a grain of salt), he bought the condo to impress a female collegue at work, and in order to so it, he paid twice the asking price.

Having the pay the defficiency is probably the lesser of 2 evils in Phil's head, because he'd have to take a massive L to sell the condo.

I also guess that he had his hopes up it might have been dismissed like his debt with the bankruptcy, but that is me speculating.

His entire treatment of the CT kahndo is a head scratcher. He couldn't sell it due to it being worth less than the mortgage, so instead of renting it to a tenant he just let his mortgage default like a damned idiot. It could have been a lucrative property for him once it was paid off.

To be fair, as I read the comment, he wasn't saying he would never beg again (of course he doesn't think of it as begging, but that's beside the point), but that it wouldn't all be "tips tips tips". So I fully expect the begging to continue, but it could also be focused more on membership drives and superchats, and that would not actually be a violation of his recent statement about the future of his streams.

As an aside, it's astonishing to me how little he actually cares to understand the platform he's using for his business. He had to be told by his cult how to discern the value of Superchats rather than just fucking reading about how they work himself. I can't remember what it was, but there was another such derp moment one of the last few days. It's quite baffling.

That's such a stupid take from him. He worked harder back in his early YouTube days when we was trying to expand his channel and even occasionally doing edited content. He was still mostly terrible, but you could see that he was actually working to build his brand.

He said he lowered the price of membership on Youtube to 4 dollars rather than the 5 he charged on Twitch, because he wants to entice people to become members. But then immediately after he says that since youtube takes a smaller cut of memberships than Twitch did he gets the same amount from them at a dollar lower.

So he's spinning not taking a bigger cut for himself as genorosity and business savy.
