It's hard to tell exactly what he thinks, but my opinion is that he knows it's begging but feels he's justified in doing it because that's how streaming works, or because the YouTube algorithm is holding him back, or because the trolls have screwed him over. He seems to understand that very few people contribute and knows that if he doesn't constantly remind people to support him, then they won't. I imagine he sees those constant reminders and Tweets as begging (though it's not his fault he has to do it, of course), but he does not consider himself a beggar.

So he's going to do another eating stream, people have voted for Indian food.

He's going to explain how to eat it using his limited knowledge, but that's because his fanbase are mouth drooling morons and they'd probably not know either.

I guess a live DSP Tries It is slightly better than just the usual dull gameplay. But that's the limit of his creativity, to do a watered down version of something he used to put more effort into.

I predicted he just wouldn't lower the tips goal, and effectively he hasn't but he's made it look like (to stupid people) that it was a decision that came with a lot of sadness and need to survive and not just what he intended to do all along. Imagine if there was a restaurant that served terrible food, had a tiny customer base, and had a reputation for some of the worst customer service around. Rather than try to improve anything in order to attract new business, the owner decides to raise the prices and expects that the few customers he has will pay these higher prices so that the restaurant can keep going.

If he goes out and spends 30 or 40 dollars on food, it's no big deal because he should be able to eat out occasionally, and anyone complaining is a stupid kid who doesn't know how the world works. But if he misses a tips goal by 30 or 40 dollars, you can bet he's going to guilt the hell out of his viewers and complain about "support sadly being slow" on Twitter.

My dad used to get pizza for us all the time when we were younger. 2 6 dollar pizzas gave us dinner for like, 2 whole days(counting leftovers). For a single person, 1 pizza could give you meals for 2 days easy.

Phil has more bills than anyone.

And if you take the bankruptcy into consideration, his monthly expenses (i.e. not having to pay credit card debt and other debts) should be lower than ever.

Most likely explanation is that he is hooked on a WWE gacha game, which is the popular opinion. There is lots of evidence supporting this.

So whenever he has a beg-a-thon, I like to believe he overspend and needs extra money to make up for it.

Also, Kat's income is never part of the equation. Asking about it just causes Phil to shit all over you.

There was once a user that phil couldn't ban for whatever reason, which begs the question: Is it possible to make a ban proof account? Like hacking twitch or something to give yourself that power? I wonder how it happened?

It never seems to occur to him that the reason the night streams often fail to hit the tips goal is incredibly obvious: the night streams are half as long. Why should his viewers have to pay the same price as the day stream for half as much content?

It really gets to me sometimes that he constantly berates his viewers for the low donations while he himself does absolutely nothing to increase the value of his content. He's producing the laziest content he's ever produced--taking more breaks and pausing more often to complain about slow support--and he demands that his viewers pay him more and more.

It doesn't even matter if his viewers somehow are doing something bad or trolls are affecting them or whatever. When you choose to make your career contribution based and people don't feel like contributing, that's your fault, not theirs.

Why does it matter what time of the month his payment for his taxes falls? If you have to hold the money for 5 days or 25 days? Is he incapable of having money in his bank account without spending it? Why not just set up a budget account?

Lol, I thought he'd never eaten Indian food before and that was the (supposed) appeal of having it on the stream. But no, he just meant he's never eaten it on stream before. So it's not like people are watching a first time reaction to him eating Indian food. He ordered something he knows he likes and he is just eating it on stream like a fucking pig and his cult apparently thinks this is good content. Other full time streamers usually cut out their eating from streams because it's nasty, but for DSP it's a feature.

As much Phil loves to spout drivel about how he's changed over the years, his content has stayed remarkably the same.

Reading your post I actually thought "no way, he was probably joking around and people were taking him more seriously than was reasonable."

Nope. I'm not going to say he 100% didn't do them, but he actually thinks that a contract was breached because a viewer challenged him to do something and he then says he did that thing without shoving any evidence and the viewer wont pay. Insane levels of narcissism.

Oh wow, I love that he just went off camera and counted to 25, like normal. We all know that a normal person would be slowing down after like 10 or so, let alone someone so out of shape like DSP. He might have tried one and became so out of breath, he just counted the rest to 25. Also, if someone challenges you to do something, you kind of have to provide proof. No, DSP is too lazy to rotate the camera to show him doing push-ups, then berates the person who challenged him to do it, saying he broke a verbal agreement.
