Phil said that he will never beg for money again, never mention tips, etc. To be fair, as I read the comment, he wasn't saying he would never beg again (of course he doesn't think of it as begging, but that's beside the point), but that it wouldn't all be "tips tips tips". So I fully expect the begging to continue, but it could also be focused more on membership drives and superchats, and that would not actually be a violation of his recent statement about the future of his streams. As an aside, it's astonishing to me how little he actually cares to understand the platform he's using for his business. He had to be told by his cult how to discern the value of Superchats rather than just fucking reading about how they work himself.
