Star World in Mario 3D World beated!

Turns out there's another bonus world, so not quite done with this yet! They've definitely ramped up the difficulty in the last couple worlds, so I expect that trend to continue here.

AoT S4E11 watched. Boy will it be awkward when/if Gabi and Falco realize Kaya's hero is the girl Gabi killed. Also Eren still the worst even in prison he has followers trying to subvert Hange and company.

Edit: Oh, apparently it was announced there will indeed be a AoT Final Season Part 2 around the start of next year (Winter 2022)

This reminded me that one thing that always bugged me when I first played Breath of the Wild at launch there was this one tower (Akkala) that I couldn't figure out a way to get to the top without taking damage (or Revali's Gale). It was one covered in malice and you could free up a metal board for Magnesis but I couldn't find a way to place it that completely bypassed it. The damage was trivial but it still always bothered me that I couldn't find a no damage solution with the initial tools the game gives you because it was basically the one and only instance of that I could recall.

I'm pretty sure I sequence broke in Majora's Mask in the first temple because it seemed like a jump I could make, but just barely. It isn't the type of jump Zelda typically asks you to make, but after a handful of tries, I made it. I couldn't tell you exactly what I did at this point, but maybe I did it right!

This wasn't the first mario game to do this right? I feel like at least one NSWB game or maybe Galaxy 2 had a fake lava final world, then a real final world, and then a bonus world.

I've played them all and I can't really recall it either. Only it isn't the one on Wii U because I replayed that on Switch recently.

Was it 3D Land that had extra world / levels something if you didn't die enough?

F/GO: I heard a lot of chatter about the difficulty towards the end of this event being hard (not counting how the Hard Mode version of the fight is legitimately one of the hardest fights in the game) so I started bracing for it... but how it actually went.

Man, they're really building up Sasha's mythology after her death, huh. And it looks like Marley believes Zeke legitimately defected, so that's interesting.

Whew, beat the other bonus world in Super Mario 3D World! That boss rush was intense with the time limit.

Looks like there might be one final bonus for collecting all the stars, stamps, and flags in every level. I've already finished doing that in the first three worlds, but I'll mess with the rest later.

The final level in SM3DW is a truly epic challenge. Probably not quite as hard as the SMG2 one though, if you did that.

Oh yeah, I loved the Perfect Run in the Grandmaster Galaxy. If it's something on that level, I'll be satisfied.

Oh hey, I'm all caught up with you guys on Titan Final. Been a bit of a mixed bag to me personally. I'm not a fan of all the Marley perspectives, especially since it makes them seem insanely unsympathetic. The sheer number of collaborators feels unrealistic to me. Like, considering similar peoples in our history, you'd think there'd be more of a resistance and less people working with the oppressors. Basically all the black people who fought for the Confederacy were forced to do so, and they certainly wouldn't have been celebrated by their fellows. Considering how Marley's military power would collapse without the Eldians, it feels like the Eldian race traitors are the real evil here, and it makes all of them (other than the secret seditionists) feel pretty irredeemable (and poorly written).

Other than that it's great though. Eps 5-7 were amazing and 8-10 were excellent as well. 11 a bit more middle of the road.

I've accumulated a bunch of free games because of the PS5's PS+ library. I picked up God of War despite not having played any of the ones before it and being dubious that I would enjoy it anyway!

auto-scroll levels are the worst

but especially when it's a slow crawl trying to stay ahead of Fuzzies that are insta-death upon touch and the level is presented as 2-D with 3-D movement so trying to collect all these green coins to get the one green star I need is frustrating

This last Mystery House where you have to collect 30 consecutive stars is pretty intense. Made it up to 21 before I decided I needed a break!

Beat the final Captain Toad level and now I'm going to give Champion's Road a go.
