All right, I've gotten as far as I can with Tomi Kisaragi's story in 13 Sentinels, and I unlocked Nenji Ogata as a result, so that's all 13 characters (that I know of so far, maybe there's a secret character, who knows). The biggest bombshell here is that the kaiju aren't alien tech or anything like that. They were created by Shikishima in the distant future in order to terraform other planets. I imagine this is what "Project Ark" is supposed to be, and this is how Shinonome sabotaged it.

Let's get the ball rolling with Ogata now.

I didn't totally follow King Kai's convoluted plan (and it seems like the Eternal Dragon didn't either...!), but this basically means Krillin and soon to be Piccolo are perma-dead now, right? I guess they'll end up with King Kai again or something, but still.

All right, I've cleared what I can for Ogata in 13 Sentinels so far. He's a cooler character than I initially thought, but part of me is wondering if I just kept confusing him for that Wajima dude since they both have ridiculous pompadours. I'm almost positive the "key" is that string of numbers Juro found.

Let's get back to Minami since it's been a while.

Oh nice, broke a lot of route locks during that Minami segment in 13 Sentinels. Also, I wasn't expecting that Erika girl to be an android of Tamao, and it seems like 426 can just body swap with any other android, which makes sense since it's an AI program.

It was pretty intense, especially when it cuts to Minami in the stall just freaking out as she listens to all the fighting. Her facial reactions are great.

After like 16 months of playing F/GO on a potato I am playing it on something decent and this is like a life changing experience lol.

Also, in a happy coincidence Kaguya Volume 19's official translation came out today, so I read through that today and how does this series manage to stay so good always? This is definitely way beyond the scope of what a Season 3 would cover but the mini-arc contained in it (well, it started back in Volume 18 but the emotional climax was here) was so good.

also if you told me i'd see part of a Trails S-Craft incantation in it I'm not sure I'd believe you. let alone this one: "Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form."

Okay, I'm as far as I can go with Minami in 13 Sentinels. BJ's theory that we aren't even on Earth anymore blew my mind. It would make sense of how we have logs that are supposedly from 2188 despite the latest date otherwise being 2085 (and how people from 1985 are still alive in 2188, too), but yeah, if that's true, I didn't see this coming at all. We just entered the "Nier" realm of crazy plot twists.

Let's switch back to Amiguchi.

I've done everything I can with Amiguchi so far, so let's see if I can get this all straight since so much happened! I guess I should've known 426 would be the crazy Juro Izumi personality that killed everyone. I like the idea that movies and TV shows in this game are based off of real life events that people "remember" that have been implanted in them or whatever.

And I'm assuming this means there's no real "time travel." The gates let you travel between different districts, not time periods, since they're all closed in anyway. It makes me wonder how many of the characters I'm controlling are "real" people or just clones of the originals. It's pretty wild!

Oh nice, I can continue Shinonome's story now, but let's save that for later. Sekighara has the lowest percentage of anyone whose story I can actually continue right now, so let's do that.

F/GO: Bleh, got greedy off my early success on this banner and took a shot at getting Kiritsugu on a whim to try and reunite the family. Got a NP2 Tamamo Cat for my trouble. Called it at 10 Tickets +150 SQ because I could feel the tilt coming and it could have gotten nasty.

i've seen the US office just once through its initial run. watched the UK one like 7 years ago, and ricky gervais is a little too one-note for me.

And that's as far as I can get with Takamiya for now. Doesn't feel like I learned anything new, per se, but it's things clicking and coming together that I've already learned, which is neat.

The Wheel of Time Book 4 complete!

Definitely the best book thus far. It's pretty riveting from beginning to end, and each character's plotline is interesting.

4 was probably my favorite out of the first 10 or however many I got through. Really liked the Aiel.

Also I think this was around when Mat began his ascendance to top tier character status though I can't remember for sure what happens in book 4 and what happens in book 5.

Yeah, he was really good in this one. Perrin was the best character overall, but Rand and Mat were both great as well.

Whew, I thought they were going to use flashbacks of this fight to drag it out even further, but it looks like Goku finally sucked it up and killed Frieza.
