Yeah, me too. At first it was just really irritating but in a "I can deal with this" way but once it got worse (and tended to be at its worse when I tried to sleep) and made it all but impossible to sleep I couldn't just hope it would work itself out any longer.

TWEWY Anime Ep1 Spoilers
It was apparently a last minute replacement, but I really liked how Calling was used for the OP. The rest of the episode was pretty much flying through the first three days. It has been a long time since I played TWEWY so I don't recall exactly what is getting cut. I do know this means we are getting less Shiki and that's unfortunate since the anime is reminding me how much I liked her.

TWEWY: Ah, that's a shame. Joshua was my favorite partner, but I really liked Shiki too. Also might be a bit questionable to rush through that given how her being taken as Neku's entrance fee plays a big role in his motivation in Weeks 2 and 3.

I can't find any evidence of an announcement of a dub. Funimation is streaming the show so there might be a dub later on.

Hmmm...If Funimation is doing it, then the chances of a dub are pretty good. I wonder if they'd be able to get the original VAs back.

Checking out the Funimation website, TWEWY is listed under their Simuldub schedule, but it doesn't say when the first English episode is supposed to come out. It usually runs about 4 weeks behind for most shows.

So I'm about 40 puzzles into Miracle Mask, and it feels like the puzzles are less difficult than precious Layton games. I don't know if they're saving the tough ones for later, but I think I've only used Hint Coins on 2 or 3 puzzles so far.

I suppose that's possible too, but I feel like most of the puzzles so far can still be brute forced through even if you don't know the actual solution.

I finished The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. If you've ever wanted to read a murder mystery that's Higurashi/Umineko crossed with Zero Escape and a dash of TWEWY thrown in, this book is for you!

Seriously though, the similarities are so striking that it seems impossible that the author was unaware of all of them.

AA6 start!

Wish I knew 6-1 was gonna take so long! It had a lot on its plate introducing the new concepts while also being fairly substantial for an opener too with the cross examinations. Definitely feels like the ridiculousness is turned up a bit with the stakes going absurdly high. Not bad though. Wonder if this is gonna be the kind of thing where this incident is somehow related to the main plot. (Actually it has to be because they said the culprit, not spelling his name, was doing it for some other guys.)

Get used to every case being super long (except the DLC case, oddly enough). That's probably one of the game's biggest flaws, although there are times you don't mind the length.

AA6 only has one case that isn't too long IMO (and even that case would've benefited by ending a little sooner, but that was more of a story decision than a pacing decision I think).

And then oddly the DLC feels way too short. Big change from the AA5 DLC! Which I think was one of the longest cases in 5?

Looking up my old time stats, 5-6 came in at 8 minutes longer than 5-2 and 30 minutes longer than 5-3. They're all just outside the top ten in length for the series.

AoT S4E13: Good thing I made sure to check what Leon said the last episode was because if you made me guess I'd have said 12! man aot stop numbering episodes from the very beginning no one thinks of this as episode 74 or whatever. Sasha's dad the real MVP. I think he may have actually broken through Gabi's indoctrination. I hope so at least. I feel like there's some interesting character ideas buried inside her but it all starts with her realizing her role in the problem. Ughhhhh Eren and Floch these guys are the worst. The "talk" with Mikasa and Armin should be... interesting. I know it couldn't possibly end this simply, but rooting for my boy Levi to just end this conflict by wrecking Team Eren when they try to come for Zeke. I mean, real talk I'd take him against Eren 1v1 even with all his crazy power upgrades.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask chapter 3 complete!

After hearing the Masked Gentleman speak again, it certainly sounds like he has the same voice actor as Randall, which is probably not a coincidence.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth Postgame and Platinum complete.

Postgame was pretty fun. Some interesting maps that made you think a bit, and it even veered into semi-canon to the point where I actually thought the end of it was going to reveal that this was canon and was going to end with Haku returning to the real world or that it was an expanded version of what Haku was doing in the time he spent dead between defeating Woshis and coming back to help Kuon. I also got my Uitselnemetia!Kuon fight! Though I wish they gave her unique Final Strike lines, it wouldn't have been unprecedented! They gave Drunk!Shis new ones! Last trophy was actually the 5000+ damage in one hit one. I probably could have loaded up any early game stage and gotten it but because, as I said in my main story wrap-up, the endgame is among the very best in gaming IMO I went there instead and got it as my farewell to the game (for now, perhaps a replay some years down the line.)

Took longer than I expected since my ability to play got cut down a lot towards the end of the main story and continued largely through the postgame to the point where I'm tempted to weigh waiting for Nier but I think I'll go to Persona 5 Strikers next as originally planned and just likely end up getting around to Nier a bit late.

About at the halfway point of Wheel of Time book 4 (Perrin just made it back to the Two Rivers). Gotta say, all this stuff dealing with the Aiel culture is really interesting.

Sounds like we're getting close to a Great Ace Attorney localization announcement. Apparently, they used the localized titles during an online orchestra concert (the subtitle for game 2 is merely "Resolve" as opposed to "The Resolve of Ryunosuke Naruhodou") and even used a localized name for the case 3 defendant from the second game.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 13 complete!

Man, fate is playing cruel games by having Floch be the one random Scout who survived the battle against Zeke. It just feels so hard to believe Eren would go along with this plan to turn all the Eldians into Titans.

Also Levi has wised up to the fact that they need to get rid of Zeke ASAP but it's never that easy. Hearing his inner turmoil that all his efforts to keep Eren alive despite all the good people it cost him was a great moment, as was Sasha's dad getting through to Gabi.

Trying to determine if it's worth it to try to sell my old sports cards. I have a huge binder full of them.

If I had any sports or Pokmon cards Id 100% cash out right now. I think theres a very high chance this bubble pops once COVID ends and people start spending their money elsewhere.

Id definitely take a look and see if you have anything pricey.

I don't think I have anything super valuable, at least not from a quick perusal. I have a Shaq rookie card, which is the most valuable thing I've found so far as I've checked pricing sites, but even that's only 50-75 bucks.

Still, I've got literally hundreds of these, so even if I sell them for like 5 bucks a pop I can still make a decent profit.

I have full sets of the first... 8? Pokmon expansions (all first edition besides, unfortunately, the base set) but I would feel very conflicted about getting rid of them

Yeah, I hate the idea of getting rid of some of my old stuff like that, but I also don't know that I'll ever really do anything else with them or add to the collection. I guess the only argument is that they'll keep getting more valuable the older they are in some cases.

I probably need to sell some of my old games, too, just because I'm running out of space.

If you get some enjoyment out of them, obviously dont sell. I definitely keep a bunch of old games around because I still mess with them occasionally, SNES stuff in particular. I also think its worth holding on to stuff if its not actually worth the hassle to sell.

In the case of Pokmon, Im not actually convinced the cards are going to keep being worth as much as they are now. In the case where you could get a few thousand dollars right now for those few sets, Id personally rather have the cash and invest it elsewhere, but if its sentimental to you by all means keep it.

It's kind of wild how much collectibles have gone nuts over the past year. I really should sort through my boxes of old games and decide how much of it I want to keep. Like I said, my SNES stuff I do actually still fire up occasionally, but I have a bunch of plastic bins in my closet with PS2/GC/360/Wii stuff that I'm realistically never going to hook up again.

But then I'm like "what if some day I end up buying a house and want to have a sweet gaming setup in my basement with all my consoles hooked up". And then I look at the housing market and LOL.

Started Persona 5 Strikers and think I've made it through most of the early tutorial stuff. Joker, Ryuji, and Morgana got thrown into and escaped Alice's Jail and the team completed their investigation of Alice and I'm now able to enter the Jail when I want though I stopped before returning. I missed these dorks. I have no idea what I'm doing in battle though lol. That Last Surprise remix was awesome tho. Lavenza sus. New fusion method because Igor's on vacation, sure? But how did that mean I lost all my endgame Personas? They should be in the Compendium which she's clearly still holding! Also I keep hearing Sophia as Towa because they share the same VA and it's kinda hilarious that way.
