You missed L-Block as a spirit; not your fault though, since it was a limited special event and the spirit is called "L-Tetrimino & J-Tetrimino".

By this logic you should leave Dark Samus off. Same reason Dark Link won't ever get in.

I think S&K's levels are better than Sonic 3's. Also, just thinking of S&K automatically invokes Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 for me whereas S3&K excludes Sonic 2 a bit in my mind.

Dr. Mario and Toon Link don't have a chance of out-nominating Mario or Link. It's a longshot, but Sheik could out-nominate Zelda (and Sheik deserves to be in with or without Zelda).

If the lists are a hierarchy of some sort, Tom Nook should be moved up as he appears in a stage and in the final smashes of Villager of Isabelle.

Hmm, Captain Toad, Doc Louis, Dracula, Master Hand and Tingle are also spirits, but it feels weird to include them there, especially the two bosses, as that's definitely their bigger role.

From the trophies and stickers, I checked went and checked the rest. Redd, Robotnik, Epona, Hades, Reyn and Tom Nook are all spirits too. Redd is also in the same stage as Tom Nook.

Regarding hierarchy, I think I tried to go from most playable to least playable, but you can already tell how that got weird. It's not perfect, but I also don't want to deal with duplicates.

Regarding the costumes, fun additions to the list! We even almost got Boko...real close. I can't confirm this yet but I thought I saw a Cid Highwind spirit in the latest Nintendo Direct about Sephiroth...? Google didn't show me anything here so I could be wrong, but maybe somebody else can confirm or deny.

And I can't believe how close we are to getting the Midgar Zolom on this list.

they didn't say anything about Spirits in the presentation at all actually, so we're just kinda waiting until the rest of the update drops to find out. For what it's worth there are four "spots" remaining on the DLC spirits page for new sets so it seems likely

Whats the one on the bottom for the next page? I thought it might be The Turks but that wouldnt be long enough for the text to be at the edge of the image like that. Top one must be Chocobo Racing/Racer. Guessing Jenova will be a Legend, or will evolve into a Legend spirit

Oh, that link in the tweet has it. Its The Turks & Rufus Shinra. Chocobo is Chocobo and Moogle and there is also Shiva and at least two more not shown yet.
