I dont pay attention to the accounts here so much but on other boards you see certain users shitpost or troll, get suspended, warned, whatever, only to come back immediately when its over.

I know any good troll has tons of alts to work with, but I feel like it would still make sense to issue a ban every now and again, because I don't see the point in suspending somebody time and time again? After a while it should be like a life sentence for the 36th time stealing a pack of gum?

I mean, not to get all political here, but we actually KNOW that the last election was fraudulent and the Russians impacted it, yet Trump remained president even after finding that out, yet this time there was far more security etc, and he is fighting it. The logic there is pretty crazy.

It's like "I cheated to get elected last time, so i'm sure my opponent cheated this time so the election doesn't count"

A lot of his posts that basically amounted to rewording Trump's tweets on the matter have actually been modded, even without more obvious ToU violations. I guess, in a way, it's a form of trolling (spreading misinformation for the purpose of pissing people off), so it seems fair enough.

No one is claiming it doesn't count. Just that it was clearly tampered with and specifically for the benefit of one side. And it was an extremely close election where the argument could be made that a handful of votes influenced by misinformation could have tipped the election the other way. Also the loser still won the popular vote by a significant margin.

The point being there are people who are claiming the results of this current election should be tossed out because some of the states are "too close" and because there's a fabricated whiff of something not 100% by the book in like one place that isn't even fraud and therefore the state legislature should ignore the vote and elect the other candidate. And if you believe that then you are 100% a massive hypocrite and moron if you consider the 2016 election totally fair because they're not even close to the same scale.

Which is pretty deliberate misinformation give that you saw *both* of the Zeus posts in question -- and responded to at least one -- and very likely saw the answer to the question you asked in that response, which got LLC suspended (and likely banned). I would ask if you felt any of it was warranted, but given your initial absurd mischaracterization of the posts I suspect the answer has already been answered.

Eh, there's always been two sets of rules enforcement on the site. Explicit rules breaking will often be no-actioned while warnings/suspensions will be handed out for posts that naturally inspire reactions like Bligh's "I have a hard time believing he got warned for that" (when in fact the posts in question didn't even go as far as to do that).

Zeus likes to claim other people are alts as if it somehow invalidates the points they are trying to make. "It's not over until it's over!", despite being unable to provide anything remotely resembling a concrete reason to expect anything to change.
