Is there anything specific I have to do to find/get Equivalent Exchange, Mondstadt & Its Archon and Time & Wind quests for the reputation? Theyre the only 3 Mondstadt ones I havent found yet apparently

Just go do them. You have to finish the Venti quest for MaIA, but presumably you've already done that. It starts outside the cathedral, EE is in the cathedral, and TatW requires you to go to the distant island for a hidden quest.

Edit: okay, I was using the wiki, and while I've done two of those, I've never done Equivalent Exchange. I imagined I was going to go log in and do it, and that I'd just never seen the ! for the guy in the cathedral, but I still can't do the quest. So no clue on that one.

probably the best overall decision for resin spending

but farming artifact exp by killing nearby clumps of enemies when you see them is still also a good decision

seems not as overwhelmingly OP as diluc, klee, or keqing, but you can very easily and effectively build a team around him. he's in the upper tier of effectiveness of 5*'s. i don't think he functions well as a support when the team isn't built around him though

his main downside is that his E cooldown seems too long, according to those who have him

I run a daily route that grabs a bunch of nodes that give a level 1 artifact or two every 24 hours. There's 10 to 15 of these spots scattered throughout Liyue.

I think Im gonna focus on grinding for talent books/weapon mats until I reach AR45, farm artifacts, and stock pile all EXP books from now til AR50 so I can level up one or two characters hopefully when I can ascend again. Might have to farm EXP Ley Lines at some point. But unless I get a decent Claymore, Diluc is staying on the bench.

prototype animus is diluc's best 4* weapon, and it's forgeable

only way you can do better is 5* gacha weapons

I was at a total loss for what to do in circumstances that merited having ice, though, like water mages and lightning hammer dudes, as I'm sure you can sympathize.

Made it to Floor 5, but I cant get the text to scroll down so I can see what elements and stuff are good....

I got the Skyward Pride. Don't know if it's good for anyone. Have Razor at 80 with Animus, and Diluc, Noelle, and Chongyun that I haven't touched. Don't have the resourves to build Diluc at this point so I'm still keeping up Razor. Is the Pride any good?

Wow 12 star cleared floor 5 in a single try. Couldnt manage to beat 6-1 though. Gotta grind more of my characters up

My main team for Floor 5 was Qiqi, Venti, Fischl & Xiangling. The secondary team was Noelle, Lumine, Barbara and a low level Lisa. Second team was basically carried by Noelle. The same setup failed for Floor 6 since I couldnt kill all the fire enemies fast enough since that party is lower level

I've been sitting on a Skyward Pride, not using it, because I have an Animus for Diluc and no need for a second claymore. The Skyward Pride didn't strike me as being very awe-inspiring, even if yes, technically, it has higher base ATK.

Because I have OCD, got everyone to Lv. 20 and Ascension 1.

Mona, Jean, XL, and Fischl's Talents are Lv. 6. Farming for Talents pretty much comes to a stand still since you only get the one item during Weekly boss fights.

Weekly bosses are for the weekends so if anyone would like to plan ahead and do these together, save up our resin, and farm the wolf efficiently, let me know.

yeah, talent level 6 is generally considered the baseline for character comparisons. the drop rates on this talent 7+ shit is horrible, i REALLY hope it gets better at 45/50

i can help carry people lower than me in world boss stuff if they need some help (in case anyone didn't know, you can team up for the new one. it's only stormterror you have to do solo)

I love when you get an Abyss Mage to warp above deep water and kill itself by drowning

spammed the shit out of the geoculus finder, used up a ton of flowers and cor but 130 get. looking at stuff remaining only got 3 quests and a boss to do before i'm back to being mostly done with the game unless they add more. even got lucky with Mona getting 5* artifacts that are perfect for her, including a hydro boost. artifact leveling, now that's taking time.

Ugh, so me and the missus have been playing just in little spurts for a while (I'm AR26, she's AR21) with the intention of playing with each other. When we tried last night, we couldn't because I've been playing on my US PSN and she's been playing on my EU PSN and it never occurred to us it would put us on different servers since it never mentioned a server selection and no other Playstation game has given us this problem before.

The whole point of us playing was so that we could play together and now it feels like we have invested too many hours to start over.

Got a Gladiators Longing from the ice flower. Elemental Mastery +23, HP +239 and DEF +16...nothing great sadly

I know they nerfed the increased elemental reaction (burning) damage, but I wonder if they intend to do anything about the self-overloading that keeps happening. I used to use Diluc and/or Xiangling against the electro Fatui, but it's hard nowadays. I believe it's because I'm setting grass on fire, which is interacting with the electro guy to cause overload to me, and it's all very obnoxious.

When you start on a playstation account, I'm fairly certain it doesn't give you the option to pick a server. It only does that in PC / Mobile / etc

Nope. Apparently it isn't even the same version of the game either. When I tried to log into her account on the PS4 I use, I had to download the EU version of Genshin Impact from the PS Store to play. It wouldn't let her play on the version of Genshin that was already on the console from the US PSN store

I'm betting with a PS4 account not being able to be used on PC / Mobile / Etc it's because of the currency processing. Because I know EU PSN is a pain in the ass whenever I want to add funds to buy anything as it won't take my US CC or US PayPal.

Only reason I have an EU and US PSN is because I emigrated from the UK and it became a hassle whenever I wanted to buy shit from the PSN store on my EU account

Yep, official site says PS4 server is automatically selected based on PSN account region. Cannot be changed.

Like even though AR21 isn't that far, it still feels like it would take 20+ hours for her to reach that point again on a US account. Only one of us has a 5* character so that isn't a big deal but I assume now it's 1.1 there's free stuff that was missed

"reward-dense but time-gated" is how power progression in handled in mmos a lot, and almost always it becomes trivial to acquire that thing as time goes on cuz of powercreep

wouldn't be surprised if higher world level dropped more, or if they introduced farmable ways to get them in 6-12 months

but as for now, talent level 6 is pretty much the realistic cap
