They're the same person that gives you the reputation system in the first place. If you haven't located them yet, you should have a quest to go talk to them.

Gameplay of bounties: 10 minutes where you have to locate three points of interest in a moderately large area, using elemental vision. Some are items you pick up, some are enemies you kill, and some are just spots on the ground. After you've identified all three, you have to fight a quasi-boss like an Eye of the Storm or a Hilichurl Champion. They also have a special strength and weakness, like the Ruin Hunter I fought that was immune to physical and weak to elemental, or the EotS that was immune to geo damage but weak to being poked with spears.

Oh, I didn't have access to the requests in Liyue because the prerequisite literally just released, so yeah, that's possible.

I found the Mondstadt one. Guess I had to zoom in more on the map to have the icon pop up. Already lv3 Reputation. Also sad the weekly BP missions were like 2 days shorter than an actual week. Even though Im AR40 I am not having any luck getting Ascension materials so I can level to 70. Stupid ice flower just wont drop the right crystal

Thankfully I just pulled Keqing and I had boosted my Xingqiu to 70 previously, so benching my Bennett doesn't actually hurt me (much).

Keqing + Xingqiu + Venti is an EXPERIENCE.

Made some good progress doing the main story and reputation stuff today. New boss fight seemed cool but I kind of button mashed my way through and missed some things; not sure this will work for the refights. I did run through a big chunk of the 1.1 content immediately, but there's a new event next week, so that should occupy me some. Also looking forward to the banner rotation.

I think I did all the new story missions. Missing 3 Liyue sidequests. Haven't even tried to 100% any parts of the map yet, sounds like a chore. Trying to build up a second team for Spiral Abyss.



I think my next priority will be to Level up a Geo character. Noelle is at C5 and she's basically my only usable Claymore. MC will be useful down the line but I rarely ever use him outside of puzzles. There's also Ningguang but it's gonna be forever til I get the resources to make her viable. Kaeya still only Ice user...

Debating on trying to get Childe. Don't really care for Diona, even though she is Ice.

Feel free to ask for tips. Depending on how long you intend to play, there are things you can definitely do (or not do) to set yourself up for less grief later. Notably, start using your resin as soon as you open up leylines...AR 8, I believe.

Or ignore all that crap and just have fun until you run out of world to explore. That's perfectly valid, too.

Oh this is good to know, I've not done that. I got AR 7, and then I did the gliding quest thing. Will do that next.

To be clear, use all your resin that regenerates. Don't use the consumable items that give you more resin. You'll want to save those for when you're a much higher AR.

Yes, sorry. I probably should have been more clear. There will be a readout on your map screen. Leylines use 20 at a time, and it gradually regenerates.

The point is that resin is a renewable resource and you don't want to sit on the cap when, later on, resin is going to be something that limits your game activity. You're a long way off from worrying about that, but it's definitely one of those "I wish I'd known" things.

Diona should be pretty viable for anyone that doesn't have Qiqi. But you might also wait for Ganyu and see what she's like.

Definitely taking a wait-and-see approach with Diona right now. The game needs to give you a place where you can adequately test new characters before you level them up. The trial for featured characters is good, but it's also under forced conditions and in Diona's case, ice against fire enemies isn't a good match-up.

Not free exactly, you can buy her in the shop for the next event. Supposed to start Monday. You use resin for event battles to get shop currency, which you spend on various things. That's all I know.

Controlled yeets are fun, especially into water. Jean is a beast in the wild.

wish you could assign artifacts on a team-level and not on a character-level

jean is still technically on my overworld exploration team (theoretically, razor+fischl+jean+venti is the closest to optimal you'll get without region-specific search passives), but i feel like i use it much less than i should
