I had the same experience yesterday. Except mine were not yours. They were just two places I had never explored, and stumbled upon. One was near Qingyun Village and the extra was above my last shrine.

On some of the domains, the listed rewards don't change between levels I and II. As far as I can tell, the number of drops doesn't change either. So in these cases is there a point to doing the harder one?

If your files were stored client-side, do you know how much cheating there would be? Yes, reinstalling will be fine, nio. Your account isn't cross-platform, for whatever reason, but if you lost your account by reinstalling, do you know how many angry people they'd have beating on their doors?

After running the upper tier of the talent domains, where the reward is green and blue talent books either way, I'm seriously questioning this.

Just go on a mission to explore the whole world, bit by bit, and you'll likely uncover most of them. You'll also have a blast finding all the treasure chests you missed before.

Pick one chunk of map and tell yourself "I'm going to explore this entire area, carefully and methodically," and then when you have time and interest, pick another. I found my last geoculii that way, without having to hunt for them, and acquired a bunch of other stuff along the way.

For the Talent domains, the drops have been better. Havent done any of the Artifact domains - waiting for AR40

I guess the ones I do the most are the weapon ascension ones. Haven't done much with talent or artifacts.

Well what I noticed is you get more of the rarer quality. Like you go from 2 greens to 3 greens. Then 3 greens and 1 blue. Then 2 greens 2 blue. Then add the chance of purple. Not exact numbers, just the idea.

Yeah, but when you fluctuate between 2G/1B and 2G/2B, that isn't that much of an upgrade. You're averaging 6-7 greens per run. Just 1 purple would be 9 greens.

Alright. Since I got Razor at 80 with the Animus, full Gladiator set, one constellation and his talent dropped for Dvalin, been focusing on just strengthening the team around him.

Went with Qiqi 70, Fischl 50, Sucrose 50. And it wrecks. Razor has his Burst pretty much all the time thanks to Fischl, Qiqi sets up a nice superconduct and Electro shield counter, and Sucrose does big AoE. Just gotta work on their artifacts a bit.

Cor Lapis is an ascension material for certain characters, and they both can be used to make potions at the alchemy bench.

So...

As I approach level 50 on the battle pass, I'd determined that I'd buy the Gnostic Hymn for the resource value, extra pulls, and 4* weapon. I went to YouTube to get information on the weapons but ended up watching a video that, more or less, said that the paid battle pass is OP. I was wondering if anyone has bought the pass and agrees with that, or conversely, how strapped you guys are for resources - I remember a couple people claiming to be broke last topic.

I bought the Battle Pass and am also close to finishing it. If you're willing to spend on the game, I believe it's a very good deal relative to the normal paid packages just from the extra pulls, even ignoring the significant additional bonuses you get. That said, mora struggles are eternal.

I've been contemplating the pass. I'm nowhere near hitting 50, though. Gonna need a strong week and a bunch of stuff on Monday to finish that off.

I'm also generally F2P, though, and I can be a really stingy bastard. I did drop the bucks for the Welkin's Blessing (which has almost run its course,) but I hadn't intended on buying anything else. BP is basically the only thing I'd consider. It's a way better deal than $10 in pure primogems, but that doesn't make it a good deal. I need to decide if I plan on continuing this game, and $10 is worth it.

Funny how I fret over $10 here, but don't bat an eye when a plumber tells me I owe him hundreds of dollars.

I hit BP 50 today and very tempted for the Battle Pass. It's a lot of exp materials and gold. The wishes are nice but not a priority.

I see the wishes as a way to accelerate pity a little bit for the next banner I want to do.

The extra resources would be a nice boost too. Knowing how characters scale though, it would not last long.

I'm willing and able to buy it, but it might be better to opt for 2 more months of the daily gems instead which would translate into more resin refreshes for much of the same mats one would have gotten in the BP. I'll need to math it out first or see what someone smarter than me has math'd regarding it first.

Yeah, I bought the Blessing and the Battle Pass, but I really shirked the game over the last week and a half, as I've really soured on what AR30+ Genshin Impact is, so I'm probably only gonna get to Tier 34 or 35 on it.

Then while I was mashing through the rewards, I was going through Tier 30 and hit one extra button, and it just gave me the sword with no confirmation or anything. It is my 6th SR sword and 9th overall SR weapon. I only main 1 sword user and I'm not gonna use this on Qiqi, so I'm just super, super bummed out on this game in general.

All that said, it still feels like I've probably gotten a good $10 worth of stuff out of it. Especially compared to the rate when you buy gems.

They substitute for primogems.

Yeah, at the bottom of the item menu, it'll show you how many primogems you have. Interact with that brings up the redemption menu

Okay. so I just need to redeem them? I didn't see anything come up when I was short on fates to wish except for the primogems I already had.

Usually its because theres some stuff you can only buy with the paid currency. Which there is here...but its kind of worthless.

I wouldn't be suprised if they had some special anniversary roll or something down the line only for the paid currency but idk

Also died for the first time. That Nine Pillar quest. I figure I need a Claymore unit to get rid of those power stones? Highest leveled I got is Noelle at Lv 40. Oops.

There's also legal reasons why they do this. It helps keep the gacha elements from getting labeled as actual gambling, and it prevents there from being a direct link between real world currency and game assets -- which is important to the gacha design both legally and psychologically.

Hit AR 40 and ascended by two main damage dealers. Depending on how the grind feels, I'll spring for the BP.

I'm saving up all my primogems for a new banner, but Mona is who I really want, since I already have two main DPS characters. I could really use a second healer though, so I may be pulling for the new healer in 1.1 and hoping I don't hit pity since I don't need Childe...

I want to know more about Diona, but I am at least interested in considering her. I saw her actual abilities, though, and it sounds like she only heals the active character, and only via her ult.

Since I leveled up 3 Spears (Crescent Pike, Dragons Bane, Favonius Lance) to Lv. 70... Ill be waiting for Zhongli and Xiao banners.

Just pulled Diluc on that .6% chance. I'd have preferred any other 5* so as to compliment Klee, but great nonetheless and only 5 pulls since getting Klee, so nowhere near pity, either.

If it's only been 5 pulls, then that's basically pure upside even if you don't use him.

Kaeya can be good if you commit, but I'm going to wait and see if I can snag Diona first. I'm not trying to create an all-husbando team, though.

Imo having good characters for a second team for spiral abyss is more important than making your main team that can probably beat everything already stronger.

That's something I'm wrestling with now. Do I want to throw resources into a B team? I mean, sure, there isn't much to do with my A team that mandates getting them better gear, but Spiral Abyss is the only reason to commit to the bench, and I'm not sure there will be more Spiral Abyss-like content. There will be more world to explore, and probably co-op events that imply having at least one very strong character.
