She is just there to boost Razor's regen and attack anything out of his reach, so I think focusing on her physical damage would be better?

physical damage is like the one modifier that does not help her at all

ele% boosts her charged shots and her E+Q, physical boosts her uncharged shots which you should never do

you either want 4pc thundering, 2pc thundering + glad, or 4pc noblesse

Almost done with the event woo

ATK % scales off your character's innate attack at their level, plus their weapon ATK. Nothing else.

It's still good in the early going to focus on ATK and ATK %, simply because you won't get an appreciable amount of anything else (like crit damage) and ATK % actually gets worse as the game progresses because more of your damage is coming from outside your base ATK.

atk% gets worse than crit at a level of gearing most people will never achieve, so realistically speaking it's still best to focus atk% whenever you see it until you have hundreds upon hundreds of 5* artifacts to parse through for good enough crit stats for crit to be worth it

atk%'s value never actually diminishes, it just stays completely constant; crit very very very gradually gets better as you pile on more crit

I quite liked it when Fischl broke character. The lore implications of the sky is intriguing too. All in all, this event ticked a lot of nice boxes with lore/reward/tasks all being solid.

Finished my last run of the event. All the enemies were lagged into hell even though none of us were so we destroyed them effortlessly. It was weird

This event made me appreciate Mona a lot more. She is back to being best girl again!

I wasn't a huge Mona fan and then I pulled her a couple weeks ago. After building her up and seeing her in action, she's doing some nice work, rendering enemy types my normal team struggled to effectively fight into jokes. To say nothing of her movement over water. Then I see her take center stage in this event. Yeah, Mona's pretty extraordinary but she's still not best girl like Noelle is.

Is there a strategy for how I should split my party up for Spiral Abyss Floor 6 and beyond?

Have DPS and healing, cover your elemental weaknesses. Bring in level 1 characters if you have to.

My basic strategy for getting through the abyss is:

* One good attacker in each party (stronger one goes in first party since its slightly harder) (As high as you can)
* One good healer in each party. I would recommend at most 1 ascension back from the primary damage dealer
* Two guys to help cover up elemental weaknesses for each party or do extra damage. Ideally one ascension back from the damage dealer but you can probably do 2 back.
* Each party should have at least one ranged person (ideally bow) Some enemies later on (such as electric slimes) are impossible to hit with melee without taking damage so you want something to do while your waiting to heal up

It's been a bit but my guess is you can probably get through ascension 5 with 2 lvl 59 damage dealers, 2 lvl 49healers, and a smattering of other units that won't get 1-shotted.

Was my rec from earlier on. For the early ones like 6 and 7 you can probably get away with 2-3 good characters on a team with some level 1s.

Also i recommend checking out the enemies on each floor before you go in. It becomes more and more important the higher you go

The floor bonus is extremely important in spiral abyss. The bonus elemental damage stacks with the bonus reaction damage for some very absurd numbers. So like on floor 9, there's 1.75x multiplier for using fire/thunder, and a 3x multiplier for the overloaded reaction itself, coming out to a total of 5.25x damage done on an overload. You can plan your entire offense around this and have holes elsewhere (like using a level 20 sucrose with a super bad 4* anemo set to reduce resistances by 40% for a lot more damage).

There's no water bonus floors yet so having stronger water reactions isn't important, but there's a lotta fire/thunder.

I got a new 4* now from an acquaint fate. The Stringless. I gave it to Venti since it sounds better than Favonius Warbow.

I feel like all I ever use Fischl for is Oz

stringless is really good on a support fischl (which it sounds like you have)

It's also good on venti. I think favonius is a better venti weapon than it is a fischl weapon though

I'll probably have time to do domains later tonight. But holy shit, I just got a scare when logging in just now to make some condensed resin.

When booting up my game on my PS4, I got an error message saying "database corrupted - restart PS4". I automatically expected the worst and that I had lost my game data for Genshin... but it was a false alarm, game booted up normally. But man, the thought of having to start all over in this game gave me some anxiety.

Crisis averted.

stringless is like top 3 weapon for anyone who deals a ton of damage on their E/Q, which is one of fischl's main deals

favonius is probably better on venti than fischl because fischl builds almost all of her own energy easily, but you really ought to build another crafted bow at some point because sometimes you just really do not need energy regen and having too much energy regen is wasted stats

that's how you ideally use supports in this game; swap in, mash E and/or Q, and swap out to someone else as fast as you can

fischl needs only one swap every 15s and doing so causes a lot of damage, energy generation, and reactions to happen over the next 15s. the amount of % damage she can put out per minute for how little time you have to dedicate to her is pretty nuts

Saw this late. Did a few runs with rando's but I think they didn't like my PS4 lag, so I got kicked constantly tonight.

Did some artifact management and leveled up some 5*s, and now I need more artifacts. Going to save up my resin for bosses tomorrow - atleast to fight two of them. So maybe Sunday we coordinate to have a full squad?

Also I went to Ginyun Stone Forest and tried to fight those Ruin Guards... and man, I struggled, had to retreat. Didn't realize how hard enemies hit now at AR45. Everything at Monstadt is still easy but Ruin Guards missile attacks hit HARD.

I remember one I did had me against 3 ruin guards and a ruin hunter. I almost got wiped and that wasnt even at the toughest challenges the game has. They just hit hard at any level really. Dealing with one is easy, but several just spam the missile attack and blow you up

I ended up spending my available resin on the two domains I knew I could do, but didn't start burning moons. Would be nice to get into the fire domain, but it's hardcore anti-fire anti-lightning, so rip me. I guess I could move my artifacts over to MC and run anemo, but seems like if I'm going to resort to that, I should just level Childe. (I *could* bring Barbara, but I doubt anyone would want that.)

Anyway, what time would folks be around on Sunday?

Barbara supporting is how I clear the fire set domain with Razor. Though not sure how her skill would work in co op.

Yes. That's why I need Barbara lol. She turns off the Pyro and then my Razor/Qiqi combo can do their thing.

So I've been thinking about solidifying my second team (for now), prioritizing my Top 8 characters. Keqing is now Lv. 80 w/ Lv. 80 Refine 2 Black Sword so she's my DPS. Still no good Claymores, so Diluc's staying on the bench. I'm starting to realize the character I want most is now Chongyun since he will cover both my Claymore and Ice deficiencies.

Well, obviously I'd want both a good Claymore to use either Chongyun or Diluc. But Chongyun is Ice, something my team lacks.

Tried to get a dupe of Diona but got Beidou x2, Ningguang, and Fischl instead. Unfortunately, I am now up against the pity on the character banner, and it is guaranteed to be the banner character. Depending on who is featured after Zhongli, I might not pull on that banner at all, and I kinda wanted Xinyan.

Supposedly Ganyu or some Albedo character is coming after Zhongli, but well see

Ganyu is whom I want, so if it is her, no pulls on Zhongli's banner. If it's Albedo, that gives me time to accumulate more wishes for a future banner, so I wouldn't mind getting Zhongli, though I would be pulling for Xinyan and Razor dupes
