I know this topic is the Home of Bad Takes but that's one of the worst I've ever seen.

In a topic where people have supported war crimes, stripping people of rights, and actually being ok with a pandemic running rampant Dont take a comedian so seriously being one of the worst is itself an incredibly bad take.

Jeremy Corbyn has been suspended from the Labour party.

This is because the Equalities and Human Rights Commission report into antisemitism in the Labour party was published today. Corbyn and other top party officials were not found guilty of wrongdoing, but several unlawful acts were found in terms of processes, action on reports of antisemitism, and antisemitic harassment by members. Keir Starmer gave his response taking collective responsibility, defending Corbyn, and saying that in addition to antisemitism, anybody who attempted to say that claims of antisemitism were exaggerated would be expelled from the party. Seems pretty reasonable.

Mere moments later, Corbyn releases a response saying that the claims in the report were exaggerated.

Real stupid move from Corbyn. I'm on the left, I supported him, but it's difficult to defend that.

Its came out through leaks and a whistleblower that the plan to label Corbyn as antisemetic came from within the party, specifically to oust him not because of actual antisemitism.

King move from Corbyn.
