Yeah. She was also Zia in Bastion and Red in Transistor (Ashley Barrett). Orpheus is the composer I think (Darren Korb).

A nice efficiency (and a testament to talent) is that so many actors in this game voice multiple characters.

Zagreus, Skelly, and Orpheus (singing).
Achilles, Poseidon, Charon, Hades, the Narrator, and Asterius
Ares, Dionysus, and Theseus.
The one that threw me was that Aphrodite and Dusa are the same actor.

Okay I feel dumb but I officially need to ask. What do I do with the three tiers of unique resources like blood, diamonds, and that potion which name escapes me? What are weapon aspects? What do I do with all this stockpiled stuff?

I've had ten runs and got to the end twice, met everybody, and am almost complete with a few romance paths I suspect. And yet I don't know what these items do.

Titans Blood - used for upgrading weapons (aspects)
Diamonds - used to buy upgrades from the contractors
Ambrosia - used to progress relationships. Used to upgrade companions earned from specific Ambrosia gifts

Pick up a weapon in the courtyard and then press the same button again. Im pretty sure you need all of them unlocked to do this and youll get a conversation about it

My last run bogged down in the fourth area. I had a great long-range setup which was unfortunately stymied in close quarters. Got placed in a square-shaped set of tight corridors with big rats and they dropped their poison in front of the cure well. An unlucky hit led to me playing a "get poisoned, get cured" game for half a minute until one last unlucky hit dropped the run.

So you can't? That's a shame. I want to know because I'll get another Titan's Blood/Diamond/ect when you beat the boss the first time with each weapon. I want those drops Fore example, I know I haven't beat the first boss with the bow yet, but I think there is 2-3 weapons I haven't beaten the second one yet.

Did a clear with the gun again heat 1 and fought Charon for the first time during it. Finished him and then had to do the butterfly ball miniboss right after

holy shit this build was so good. Didn't use any death defy, never even dropped below 50% hp before the last boss



the dodge and move speed was a 100% uptime buff because I could use my call every 5 seconds

Ugh, Poseidon knockback with slam damage is pretty great, except when you're dealing with enemies who don't really get knocked back and then they just pop you back. >_>

if you go to a god in the codex and press b it gives you a boon list. you can scroll down to the duo abilities to see which boons are required for them

I don't actually know what that enemy is, and I couldn't be bothered to look it up, so I've never grabbed it. It's good though?

*oh those. They're somewhat annoying, but the big ones are a lot worse. I usually dash around. They die on their own after a while even if you don't attack them.

Got to Hades with the shield, a bunch of Aries boons, Poseidon booms, and lightning dash. The shield is my favorite weapon so far for sure. Still haven't unlocked the one after the spear though.

so do you just have to keep giving nectar to people to open more stuff up? it says entry complete but then every time I give someone a nectar more empty hearts appear between the next heart with the '...' which I assume is a new conversation.

Bleh third time falling to the last boss. Bow attempt with Flurry Shot with Hangover on Attack and Doom on Special.

Usually about two-thirds into the first bar I'll know whether a run is going to go well and I could tell about a third of the way in on this one. :-/

So is there only a limited amount of slots for boons available? This has only happened to me once but one time I was given an option of 3 boons and one of the
choices said it would replace one of my current boons. I didnt take that one for that reason and it hasnt happened to me since.

How do I know which ones are gonna be replaced or not? Im assuming that knowing this would be helpful in selling boons on a run for gold (Ive yet to do this at all because I dont see the point). The game doesnt explain any of this at all, or I missed it somehow.

Some boons affect your normal attack, your special, your dash or your cast. You can't have 2 boons that affect the same thing at the same time (Except Hermes boons, they don't override anything).

Ah ok I see. Do level upgrades carry over if theyre replaced? If I replace my level 3 boon will the newer boon also be at level 3 or reset back to level 1?

From what I've seen they do carry over but I could be misremembering. It doesn't seem like a total loss to switch over to a new one. It's a lateral change.

Pretty sure you can see wheter the new boon is leveled up when given the choice to replace it, but I'm not 100% on it.

Right, I'm at 4 wins now and starting to figure things out. Two with the shield, one with the rifle, one with the spear. I get the feeling that most weapons can be reasonable if you get a solid build going. Finding a lot of success with aiming for the Privileged status buff (extra damage to enemies with two or more curses). Here Demeter is queen since her debuff stays on for so long. Then it's just about learning the Hades pattern well enough. And having good enough DPS to quickly and safely kill stuff in the fourth level.

IMO the bow aspects are great because they change how you play so much. Like, the one where your special seeks the last target you hit with an attack gets really nasty with, say, Demeter and her ice explosion at ten attacks. The other aspect gets really nasty if you manage to get the Ares Artemis duo boon. It melts stuff crazy fast when you load 3-5 casts of the seeking Blade Rift.

I find myself standing pretty still for the most part using the bows charge and special. Yeah I really don't like standing still for long either, which is why I'm hyped to try the Chiron aspect. It having the special be the single target DPS means I'm less reliant on the attack that locks me in place for a million years.

Generally I use the boon keepsakes on levels 1-3 to force specific gods then for the final switch I get the one with extra HP or that heals 75 HP first time I die.
