What carries over through your deaths exactly? Not the boons I assume Some of the pickups you use to upgrade Zag (Darkness, Keys) and the Underworld (gems), Nectar (try to spread it around to NPCs before giving a bunch to 1, so you get a lot of trinkets early and can level which ever ones you want).
