I decided I should post this, I forgot everything I need to put in the topic though, it's been a while. I don't even have the rule I added or my Level 4. Thankfully they're not as relevant in the first week, if someone can tap into BlogFAQs or whatever the site name is, that'd be helpful. I've never been able to navigate it properly.

The paid stuff were my specific rule that I forgot to actually edit onto the rules in my doc, I'll make sure it's in the rules next week, but for now, time to continue into this new season.

A few ground rules:
-Please say which level you are on when you post your pick. In most cases it will be obvious, but this makes it easier for me to record the picks.
-The deadline to make a pick is at the start of the second set of games on Sunday afternoon (4:25 PM ET). That means no SNF/MNF picks after most all the games have started or finished. You cannot pick a game that has already started.
-The deadline to answer the bonus question is at the start of games on Sunday (1 PM ET).
-Please post the spreads with your picks, it makes it much easier for me.
-I get my spreads from an online site providing lines from several sources, both in Vegas and out. Although these sources may continue to change their lines throughout the week, the ones I post in the topic are frozen and final for our purposes.

Explanation of Levels:

Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Bonus:

1: Will any games go to overtime this week?

Another year of no one asking for really any changes in the ending thing, I'll figure out if by Week 4 myself if I continue the rule I changed, or revert back to 30+/10-. Granted, it still seems easier than Week 3 but we didn't have the attempt to change it and adjust so I'm still not going to swap for this season. Either way, again, the rule I made last year is not gone, it will be added into next week and edited into the doc as soon as I can get it.

After finally putting everything in, I have 41 entrants in the tiebreaker. That's less entries than Week 10 of last year, which is a point when participation was dwindling. This year really is just having a bit less people doing this stuff in general.

And of course we continue to wait for the result of that, two people have already lost Level 1 thanks to buying into their teams being favored against other bad teams, how saddening. Of course, on the flip side, out of 42 entrants, we have 34 people advancing to Level 2 already with 6 people waiting on the results of later games.

I'd like to propose something, I was talking with Wickle and I don't really think the deadline on picks makes sense personally. P much everything else has a "that game" deadline on it (IE you can make picks for 4 PM before then, same for 8 PM etc), how would people feel about that being changed? Wickle said it was just a holdover from the previous ruleset.

Not trying to cause trouble, I kinda figure most people will just be like "Eh, whatever" but it's just something that makes more sense to me so I wanted to maybe get the ball rolling on it some.

Not many risky picks, as normal for Level 1, even those who failed technically didn't have much risk to their picks, it just didn't work out thanks to us not having much of a clue on how some offenses and defenses would look without preseason.
