I don't remember if you were that into vocaloids, but if you were I say to download Project Sekai on your phone.

It's a vocaloid rhythm gacha game that's pretty good. It's only in Japanese, but it's pretty easy to figure things out.

Has a lot of text because the big draw is the game has a lot of OCs that interact with the vocaloids (who play more of a "guardian" role in-universe), so there's a story to it, they sing their own cover of many of the vocaloid songs.

"pass the paddle" has always been the family line, particularly my sister clings on to it because she's confused people with that term and she's enjoyed it as a "that's what we call it!" thing

also throughout the DS-3DS era, to parents I'd always just refer to them as gameboys - like "have you seen my gameboy"

basically boiled down to tv console = "Nintendo", handheld = "GameBoy"

switch can be the "nintendo switch" tho

my rule for steam sales is that if i don't think i'm going to play it within the next week i'm not buying. good way to control myself. it's way easier to do this for steam than anything else because it's so routine.

the only games in my library i haven't played at least a little of are the ones i've gotten for free.
