god i hate that this match is so easy considering its two of my noms lmfaoooooo but i can't be too disappointed at all with the match not going my way

subject to change. Most matches in round 6 are fairly straightforward decisions for me; except for this one. This is the one match where i'd rank both tracks right next to each other. and frustratingly both songs are very very mood-dependent/appeal to me in very different ways from each other, so it is harder to evaluate them against each other. in the end though, I think of Rude Buster as a top 5 toby fox song; whereas i like 40 other songs in 13 sentinels ost alone more than deoxyribose. but i like 13 sentinels ost a lot more than deltarune ost...and yoshimi kudo/basiscape a lot more than toby fox......... Not evaluating these based on how i feel about them relative to other music from the games/composers, but those statements put into perspective how much Rude Buster is a standout to me and deoxyribose is not. very tough call but Rude Buster sticks with me. Deoxyribose doesn't no matter how into its style i am. still considering changing my vote to deoxy if I feel differently later

My optimum "what if" match here via ratings:
Apostle's Maraud (10) >/= -[Deoxyribose-] (10)

Deoxyribose's buildup game is second to none in either this bracket or the ToC. The buildup that lasts from ~1:10 to ~1:57 with the background choir transitioning to the softly wailing woman, and the 30 second payoff immediately afterward, is sheer perfection. The fact they do a different variation of that late is overkill in this matchup when just the first third of the track alone outclasses Rude Buster in every way.

I certify that I have read the rules, listened to both songs, and believe I am voting for the genuinely better track.

I love listening to Rude Buster, but...
