Dungeons and Dragons online Balders gate (Ps2) Fallout 1 & 2 Fallout 3 Knights of the old repulic 1 & 2 FF 1-10 (fairly recently) Kingdom hears 1 and 2 Actually screw it too many to list. In the last few months I've played and completed Breath of Fire I and II, Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, Suikoden II, Valkyria Chronicles, and Persona 3. The only post-2010 games I've played recently are Bravely Default, Octopath Traveler, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age: Origins both meet the criteria as well, and I tend to play those every now and then. Same for Jade Empire, KotOR, and Baldur's Gate. I'm much less likely to play Fallout 3 and Oblivion, but those still count. As does Ass Creed 1 & 2. Most of the Halo games worth playing all predate 2010 (though Reach was in 2010). Saints Row 2 was 2008, and I still play that from time to time. I actually wanted to play my old Deus Ex games a while back, two of which predate 2010, but Invisible War isn't 360 compatible. The original Borderlands was pre-2010, and while it's not quite as fun or interesting as Borderlands 2, it's still an okay game to replay every now and then. Alpha Protocol came out in 2010, and I haven't played it for a while, but I've been considering playing it again at some point. I also bought the PS4 version of Day of the Tentacle not that long ago, and that's a game from 1993 I could probably think of more if I really concentrated or checked my game library. I was playing Minecraft a couple months ago, which I'd count as pre-2010 (official release wasn't until 2011, but I bought it during the beta). A sizable chunk of my Steam backlog is older than that (heck, a rather alarming amount of that backlog was purchased in or before 2010 >.>), to say nothing of GOG. LB1 posted... 2010 wasn't even that long ago It doesn't seem like it, but it's been a decade. 2010 is halfway between the release of the PS2 and the current date. Pre-2010 refers to an era when digital distribution was unusual instead of the norm, and the worst industry practices we had to worry about were roughly limited to Horse Armor. Smartphones were only just starting to be a thing, as were indie games. That said, most modern gaming conventions had crystallized by then. Pre-2010 games don't feel nearly as dated as older ones simply because how games are designed hasn't changed that much compared to prior decades (monetization aside). Controllers have basically been standardized since the PSWii60 era (as much as the Wii tried to buck the trend), and that's had a big influence on stuff feeling like it hasn't changed that much. The shooter trend of the early- to mid-2000's also hasn't really gone anywhere, though the explosion of the indie market has helped to diversify what's available. I understand why you wouldn't feel like it's been that long, since so much of gaming feels the same as it did then. --- This is my signature. I also played Deus Ex: Revision recently. It's a modern remake of the original game from 2000. I just started playing the Bioshock series , enjoy 1 & 2 , Infinite bores me. Deadpool and Arkham Origins , along with Infinite , would be my newest games that I actually play. I bought MLB 15 and one of the Star Wars games, 4-5 years ago - didn't like them and deleted them from my PS3 . But I've got Namco Museum 1 & 3 still on there.
