I feel like this happened with some bank stocks and AAL as well. It's probably just bad luck, but if it isn't, you may have discovered a way to make a lot of money - just wait until you want to buy, then short the stock instead.

This is exactly what happened to me when I bought AAL. It happened slightly lesser with the banks, I had to hold those for a month before selling for a moderate profit.

Huh, Nasdaq turned red for the day. VIX is up nearly 6%. That's weird with Dow and S&P still up.

I've bought GAN multiple times at 27 and swing traded it. Now it finally pulls back, which I was waiting for over a week and figured it was never going to happen. D'oh! LCA also doing bad today :( But not near as bad. Might sell it off if goes green and put it back in GAN. I don't think GAN will get much cheaper.

I feel like the more I learn about options trading the more confused I get

so this morning I bought 5 Amazon Call spreads for $2500 total They were

$3250 Calls- Bought
$3260 Calls - sold

So Amazon ends the week above $3260 I bank another $2500

Amazon then tanked so I nervously put in a sell order.

I ended up making $250 despite the fact that my calls were a good 100 points out of the money. The ratio between them just converged to $5.50 and my order executed.

what kind of crazy wizardry is this.

Hopped back in Amazon spreads and it dumped another 100 points.

ive been waiting on hell to break loose in florida, texas and (cali again), which bolsters it, stay at home shit has thrived in it

their subscription model has an extremely high renewal, the roku functionality is great, and they're probably going to debut something fairly soon.

That intraday crash hit the stay at home stocks much worse than the reopening stocks today. Maybe the market gave up on FL and TX closing down.

Speaking of which, TSA numbers for the weekend were strong. +200k from last weekend for Friday to Sunday even though last weekend was a holiday weekend.

Yeah I havent really looked at the crash between 12 and 3, but the last minute sell off definitely was in reaction to CA rolling back on opening up or whatever they said.

VIX ended +17% for the day. The chance of a big crash tomorrow like June 11 are pretty significant.

I hope not. It took forever for me to recover from that day. I still am, in fact.

I should have sold out everything at Dow +500 and VIX +5%. I didn't think of checking VIX until after that crash started but it was telegraphing the upcoming move all day long. Exactly the same behavior (market and VIX aligned) as on June 8 and March 20-23. I mean it even aligned with Moonroof buying a big position in a non-meme stock that had moved up a lot recently. All the signs were there!*

Well, I guess I couldn't sell out everything, because I wanted to hold through DAL earnings tomorrow. Hopefully that comes out good. I feel expectations are so bad it'd be pretty hard to do worse than the expectations.

*Now watch the market rise the rest of the week now that I've said this. I'd be happy to be wrong about this since I ended up not selling a thing other than converting my AXP shares into SPCE shares.

Haha. Well, if were in for another massive dip Id rather take the ride with Amazon than AAL.

I'm taking this opportunity to stockpile more shares of TRVG. It bounced back surprisingly fast to $2+ after I bought my initial shares for $1.69, so I feel reasonably good about doubling down at $1.78.

The main dip I have my eye on right now, though, is sub-$10 TA. I don't think that'll happen, but man, if it does...

Man, gotta love it when an alert goes off after you gave up on it. My GAN below $23 alert triggered today - the day after I gave up on oy ever happening.

I'm hoping LCA and GAN reverse course tomorrow because there's no reason for them to be dumped - they're both online gambling stocks. I figured they'd rise if the market crashes, but I guess that usually happens shortly post crash.
