My shares, I had my fiance move her investments over to it at the same time and I just leave her alone because it stresses her.

so she has had EVRI since 2.30 as well =P

This is paying for my new home :O

God I said it would go back to a dollar but I am so tempted to just take the money <.<

Im debating in what to do with NKLA and AVCT. I cant see what AVCT is at right now but NKLA is up more than I expected it to be. I feel like its going to dip. I initially intended to put $20k into it but chickened out and put in only $10k.

AVCT as of now dipped like 6 cents pre market so kind of just relaxing.

For those who like playing it safer, the banks and other financial stocks have been on a tear. And theyre still far from their pre-virus ranges.

My entire portfolio is pretty risk averse, I'm looking for a little bit of both right about now.

Well Chris loves saying his stocks always go up, so you might want to get into AVCT since its red at the moment.

I'm looking into Wells Fargo (WFC), Bank of America (BAC), Sysco (SYY) and Exxon Mobil (XOM) this morning. WFC and BAC both look great, Sysco is up an insane amount pre-market since it looks like they had good news come out, so probably gotta wait for an early dip to buy, and Exxon I think everyone is already on board for except me thus far.

Chris, what makes you like AVCT so much again? It has a super choppy history and doesnt appear to move a whole lot.

LK and AVCT both have me worried this morning. By far my two biggest positions and my account is now down over 1k from close on Friday because of it.

LK was up like 5% an hour ago. Now its plummeting. But who knows with that stock, it can randomly open a full dollar higher any given day.

If you really want to play it safe, I still say go into the banks. Even with the monster past five days theyve enjoyed, they are still guaranteed to be higher in one year than they are now. Youll just risk buying them at a high time thus having to wait longer for a profit.

RCL up another 5 bucks.

I wish I could triple my net worth doing absolutely nothing. I don't get it

Yeah, LK doesn't bug me so much since I already took 9k in profits from them and am just holding out the last 1,000 shares in case they become a 20+ stock again. AVCT though I didn't really do enough research before buying so they have me more worried! Chris don't fail me now

My concern with bank stocks is if companies start going under bank stocks are going to get obliterated.

I almost like betting on individual companies doing well like Delta over banks which is betting on the economy. I still think someone is going to run out of money and I think that spooks bank stocks

Yeah I may bounce from LK. I do not understand this free fall. Like...this was the previous chairman facing charges right? Why does this hurt them so much now?

And I am making a lot safer investments now Moonroof! Got into WFC, BAC, and XOM already now and they all look great. Still waiting for a time to get into SYY but I'll have to buy on margin if I do unless I sell LK or AVCT. My meager 100 shares in SAVE keep going up too. Wish I'd gotten more shares of that!

Im very annoyed. Something is wrong with my app. For the SECOND time (first with AAL), it is selling my stops early. I put a stop on NKLA at $42 when it hit $44. Then it sold at $42? It never went below $42.50 since my stop. I ended up making 20% but still. Im going to call vanguard now.

Dammit I sold LK at the worst possible time like a dumb dumb. Halts freak me out ever since GNUS. Ah well, as long as it's down again later I won't be too upset.

It may have very briefly crossed $42. This is why mechanical stop losses are probably a bad idea. Better to watch the market yourself so you aren't force-sold on one of these fast movements. Retail investors got massacred with that "flash crash" in 2010 when the Dow fell 1000 points in 15 minutes and then immediately got it all back. People's stop losses triggered so their shares were auto-sold and by the time they knew what was going on the price had already risen back.

Right, but that is why I intentionally put my stops decently far from the stocks current price. These flash drops seem like a bullshit way to get investors out of rising stocks.

Made $2050 off NKLA but god thats infuriating. Especially because I was trying to hold it long term.

I also did a quick buy and sell of AAL just now for $200 gain.

If you're holding long term that's all the more reason not to use a stop loss. At least not a mechanical one.

I have never been so upset about a stock before. Ive had plenty of instances where I sold before big jumps, and that was always okay since my plan was always to hold. But with this one, the combination of having the intention of holding coupled with the flash drop executing the stop is absolutely infuriating.

Its all good. I should be happy about the $2000 profit. Lesson learned is when trading long term stocks, do not use stops except for at slightly above your purchase price.

Any of you guys stick it out with ZI? That ones having a day.

I sold ZI for a $600 loss to reinvest in LK, which still let me make $7.5k or whatever I did off LK so I can't be mad! But damn I wish I picked it back up again later.
