It has some good moments, but unfortunately the good is buried under a lot of garbage. Whenever I watch the episode (which won't be until Toonami gets the dub several months from now) I'm definitely going to skip that scene because I don't like seeing that kind of shit at all.

Started it in February and just finished Dragon Ball GT. Overall, nothing amazing but nothing godawful like so many people meme. I feel the hate is overblown by people who never actually watched the show. Had its ups and downs. Some good ideas and some bad ideas. At the end of the day, its Dragonball. The writing is never gonna be quality stuff, its just dumb fun. And thats what the show was.

I tried watching Uzaki-chan and couldn't get through the first episode. Just kind of dull and the show itself is very plain looking. Character designs/art not really appealing. Not even Satania's voice could save it.

Finally finished reading Promised Neverland. I can see why people were complaining about the ending being rushed. Kinda was a cop out, but I still didn't mind it. I thought it was good all the way through. I'm pumped for S2 if it covers all the Goldy Pond stuff.

And done with Shirobako and its specials. Definitely one of the better shows I've seen recently. It aint common for me to binge watch a 2 cour show in a little over a week. The specials were cool too. They did legit full length pilot episodes of the two animes the show's studio produced. Here I am wishing they would get a real anime.

GX and ARC-V have good beginnings but terrible endings. Zexal is the opposite and the first half is boring but it gets hype at the end. Yeah 5D's is by far the best imo, after having watched almost everything except the 2nd half of Vrains and several eps of Arc-V. GX hits the right mark for some people, but the dub is not finished, and the last season which ppl usually say is what makes the series is sub locked and a very different tone due to it not being a dub.
5D's dub also leaves out one of its best seasons as well as some good duels (WRGP arc leaves out the Zushin duel which is terrific), but the entire series is so good that you can do without them if you really love the dub. Original obviously is charming in its own right and imo is this show perfectly in between GX and 5D's in terms of tone.
