I first got pity broken by B!Nailah, then Nina, then Midori. I told myself I wouldn't spend anymore on this game, but goddamn, Micaiah is real tempting. Nina better get a good PRF

does it matter what level you promote a 4 star at? if units at 5 star level 40 have their "set" stat totals, you can just promote a 4 star at lv. 1 and when it gets to 5* lv. 40, it'll still have the max stats for that particular unit right?

i'm looking through the rest of my units and i have 2 Sigurd (o+Atk,-Spd & +Spd,-Def). should i just merge these guys now? they're both 5 star so is there a downside? level does not matter when merging?

For Fortify Fliers skill it says "At start of turn, grants Def/Res+6 to adjacent flying allies for 1 turn." Does this mean this skill is only usable on a team with other fliers? Or does it somehow also count the source unit as "adjacent"

nope! all it effects is SP

No, it doesn't matter what level you promote a 4* unit at. If you want, you can earn a few levels for extra SP before promotion but it doesn't matter that much. SP isn't hard to come by.

Exp Level doesn't matter when merging. Only the Star level matters. Also you need to decide whether you want to go with +Atk or +Spd for Sigurd.

Fortify Fliers only works with other Flying units. It only gives the stat boosts the the Flying units around the unit with Fortify Fliers. There are some skills that give the boost to both units like Joint Hone Atk.

i mean my tendencies aside, it's right there in your face! although...how easy is it to get feathers? if it looks like too much work, maybe i should only plan for my favorites of favorites to promote and settle for 4*+10s on the majority of my favs?

as i understand it for 4*s, you plan to either merge +10 at 4* or 5*. i have some units with natures that seem pretty meh and i should basically hold off on promoting because if i pull the same unit with a better nature later on and i already promoted, that means i have to promote that new unit as well to get them to 5* for merge.

i'm fine with either path for majority of favs that i may or may not end up getting tbh. other than my top 2 which i'm set on maxing in some way, i'm okay with not promoting any 4* and just going the 4*+10 route. but if it's easy enough to promote, i might as well just try to give 5* treatment to a bunch more i guess.

+Atk is probably right, but I don't have Sigurd either.

Feathers were hard to come by early in the game, but we get them pretty quickly now. I have 11 or 12 5*+10 units from the 3* and 4* pool and around 800k feathers now. I'd aim for 5*+10s on your favorites. I'm reaching now on the units I pick.

You remember your fourth 5* exclusive? I remember my first one was Tacomeat, and what followed was fuzzy, but I got Seliph and he served me well enough before I got Ryoma. Tacomeat lived up to his name as the Wildcard. Remember when he was feared? My arena core was Tacomeat, Hector, Ryoma, and F!Corrin before they fell out of flavor. Then AA came around and I had to scramble to come up with so many battle-ready units. I gave 4* Hana and Laslow Brave Sword since they were either too squishy or lacked the Spd to double, but had good Atk. As my roster gradually increased, I was still very conservative with picking units to use in AA because I didn't want to corner myself and not have an answer when I needed it, but I learned over time I was being over cautious since many units actually get little usage once your roster gets really big

are there any SECRET STRATS i should know before inheriting skills? been looking around guides and i guess i'm going to give Tanith Moonbow. i have both 3 & 4 star Odin & Pallas.

i should just sac one of the 4*s here after training them right? i only have 10k feathers right now so i don't want to promote just to sac them yet.

You don't have to level them up or anything before you sacrifice them for their skills. It's probably better to sacrifice Odin instead of Palla, because Palla is also useful to transfer Goad Fliers to another unit.

The unit just needs to be at a high enough Star level to pass on a skill. Their actual level doesn't matter. Otherwise Combat Manuals wouldn't work since they don't even have a level to begin with.

If you were reading an old guide, it may have mentioned that you needed to level a 3*unit to level 20, promote it to 4*, and then inherit its 4* skill onto something else. Now, you can promote the star level if they are level 1.

when i was talking about training them, i was referring to having them get enough SP to learn the skill to pass it on since i thought they needed to have learned the skill to be able to pass it on...which i'm sure is way worse than thinking they needed to be a certain level <_<

Pulled on the new bridal banner on a whim.

Got Duo Micaiah in 10 orbs(Wasn't going for them, just pulled colorless when there were no green orbs). -Atk but whatever.

20ish orbs got me the unit I was going for, Bridal Nailah. And she was so kind as to turn up -Atk to remove even the slightest temptation of not saccing her! Gonna give Ursula Swift Sparrow 3 and Chill Spd/Def 2.

It's like Nailah was made to be fed to Ursula, if only it were Chill Spd/Res. Nailah was my first pity breaker and I'm tempted to give Evil Delthea SS3, but maybe there's a better candidate who also wants Chill Spd/Def 2. Nailah is a good unit, but I don't use beast units too much other than the main 4

I somehow ended up with 770 Ephemera 6 Divine Codes, which is 120 above what we usually get. I'm not sure how that came to be. I'm guessing the FB revival played a role in this, but it's nice to get more Repo fodder
