Because IS is allergic to doing good things for us without strings attached.

Seasonal banners are the true hell because they're almost always 4 man, and you know damn well they're never getting refines so their strength isn't changing for the most part.

The banner is a little tempting, but I'm going to save. I'm thinking of finally saving up to +10 a 5* exclusive, but it will be a long journey.

If you're fine with either, you can summon both colors. You're probably tempting fate too much to get both of them

Who do you want to give her skill to? I have an extra one, but I haven't decided to do anything with it yet

No one comes to mind right now. I like to hoard fodder and yet always have trouble deciding who to give it to. I still have Pent and haven't really found anyone "good enough" for him. First world problems!

after hours of partially catching up on chain challenges i finally got Byleth. weirdly, all the 5* i got along the way were red, even though i was pulling every colorless. also weirdly, my last 5* before this banner was my first copy of regular FByleth, as a free pull from the banner with Elincia.

I got Nils, Dimitri, Ephraim, Gerik, and Ephraim. It was starting to look bad as I got up to 4% and it was looking like pitybreaker hell, but RNG came through and gave me another +Atk Eph, then another +Atk Gerik in the same circle. Prompty fed free Eph to Busted Edel. Holding off on merging Gerik for now

Can't decide if I want to use Dimitri or fodder him

In other news, Auto-Dispatch is my favorite new feature. In light season, I literally don't even have to play AR to stay in T21. Hopefully that's the same in Astra.

in terms of function, they're the same. You watch your team battle on their own.

The benefit of auto dispatch is that you can get some easy lift with basically no effort. You also get the item of the day if you haven't had a battle yet. The teams you fight against are super easy, so any solidly built team should be able to win auto dispatch.

For shame. I thought it was a pretty solid entry in the series; better than Shadow Dragon, at least, which makes it even more of a shame that Nintendo decided to skip over it for localization. I know you can just google it, but this is what Eremiya looks like, for those too lazy to do that:

If you want story spoilers for who she is, she's the leader of an assassin group that includes Katarina, Clarisse, and Legion. She originally had an orphanage, but ended up mind controlled by Gharnef and turned those children into assassins.

And on an unrelated note, this banner doesn't really appeal to me, so I decided to start dumping the 200-something orbs I had to chase Summer Joshua, and ended up with a +ATK/-RES Summer Mia/Lucina in about 80 orbs instead. Meh. I'll take it (especially since they gave MIa a new voice actress, memes aside).

I definitely like it too, not least because I noticed that I don't need to mess with changing out structures each week now. I just wish I didn't even have to watch the replay of the fight, but that's life.

Are the AI-generated opponents in AR really that easy? I wouldn't be surprised if my team was bad enough to actually die to them, despite them evidently not being that tough. I finally got around to actually trying to score more and get into tier 21 recently (I'd normally just be floating around in tier 20 by using a team that didn't even have a bonus unit on it), but my team is so awkward - right now it's Altina, Naga, Reinhardt, Fallen Julia, Fallen Lyon, and Cav Silque. They've been absolutely wrecked by some of the higher-tier opponents I've seen in the last month, but the score bonus makes up for it, and they actually let me get into tier 24 without pulling my hair out the last time I ran them.

The AI generated opponents are weak to the point where they can do single digit or even 0 to a reasonably bulky unit. Just make sure your team is set up so you don't have flying units rush enemy archers.

Hopefully Atk Ploy is not locked to 4* so we can have easier access to it, but yea, always disappointing to see. I got my hopes up when I saw the Thief and thought he was the demote >_____>

Aside from Path of Radiance's debut banner, I don't remember any other non-seasonal banners from that game, and I think Tellius as a whole has only had four banners total. The beast hype has died, so they aren't cranking those out anymore. They want to diversify things with limited battles and resonant battles, but they're still doing a very poor job with banner distribution and it's very frustrating. I can't see these news units being more popular than Jill, Volke, Boyd, Shinon, etc.

Also, the game has been out for like 3.5 years and Nergal is still nowhere to be seen

isn't it like way more annoying for healers then if it's the latter?

I'm not 100% sure, but basically complete a map with lv 35+ enemies. I guess just get the supported unit into one fight just to be safe? And yeah, healers are annoying to level up if you don't have their staff refined.

I, too, thought that Kris was Marth at first.

Never played FE12 so I don't really care about Kris, but Lena and Julian were some of my favorite units in Shadow Dragon, so I'm glad they're finally in. Lena in particular would have been my MVP if Caeda wasn't crazy busted in that game.

Obnoxious as the units are, the newest chapter offers.... an actual boss fight. I'm impressed.

Surtr was never threatening because, well, he never got a chance to reach you. Hel didn't stand out much in her story at all.

Free pulls on the new banner were nice to me. A neutral Male Kris on my free pull, and I pulled a 4* Lena on the second ticket. I don't know who I want to give Kris's fodder to right now(I'd prefer if Lloyd got Joint Drive Speed), so I'll keep him around for the time being.

Oh, I forgot to mention but I did managed to get Dorothea(...I've been spelling it "Dorthea" this entire time). Now I just have to pray something else doesn't distract my orbs.... I mean, besides CYL4.

Yeah, it's annoying for sure. Hopefully they eventually add the feature to swap between S supports instead of having to keep rebuilding them.

my main one is +atk and 45 atk/30 spd. i still don't know all the abilities and whatnot but 30 spd seems particularly bad for every possible build here? +spd way to go?

Depends on what you're using Lucius for, but I believe +Spd can work for him.

Fallen Julia is near the top for me too; She's a lot of fun to use. She helped me beat quite a few of the abyssal legendary/mythic hero maps

Oh yeah, actually having to DEAL with her in game modes is horrible. She does not give a fuck about the weapon triangle, even with TA. Auto attack party probably kills themselves on her too.
