I basically like the fates/awakening children most of all. Was psyched Midori was in but then they took out all her crit quotes from the game. Also there's a whole laundry list of Taguel, many underserved in their own game, that would be dope to go through before we get alts of Naliah of all people. Basically every single character from 9 that isn't already in the game would be awesome.

Fates is number one as you might expect so it isn't perfect. However even Fates isn't worlds higher than second place which is currently a 4 way tie. 2019 was pretty balanced as well with exception to PoR and RD which can be argued was due to having to introduce Beast units.

Yea, they learned from their faux pas of throwing Fatesawakening at us constantly in the early years of the game. There were also less series in the game at the time and Fatesawakening consisted of majority of the popular characters

I'd suspect it's less they learned their lesson and more the changing demographics of who plays. Anecdotally, when I first started playing the game a lot of the more casual FE fans I knew were playing it, and many of them have either only played or only care about Awakening + Fates (+ Three Houses, but of course that wasn't out then). Now it's a smaller group of longer-time FE fans so favouring those games doesn't make as much sense any more.

There's truth to this as well, I suspect; IIRC Fates held up better in aggregate CYL scores from year 1 compared to Awakening. (Which is to say, IIRC at least, Awakening characters had the most total votes in year 1 while Fates had the most in years 2 and 3, with the caveat that Awakening did lose Lucina as a voting option. Three Houses the most in year 4, obviously.)

I suspect Fates is more popular than Awakening among the hardcore FE fanbase, as it's not hard to find people who will gush about Conquest's gameplay (including me). Awakening is really the ultimate casual FE fan game; it's not very well-balanced (to put it mildly) but it's a fun game to just play around in. I don't say this to take away from it (I like Awakening); it's just an observation.

Holy shit, I legit want three of them.

Granted I'd have to give up good IVs +Atk for Flying Nino +Spd for Bridal Ninian, and I'm not planning to +10 either at the moment due to lack of orbs but man the temptation is there. So many good skills I can give either of those units.

Yeah, I think his weapon is the weakest prf we've gotten in a long time. It's almost strictly worse than Velouria's. Normally that would be fine but unlike the other bad demotes he literally can't use any other weapon, and probably won't ever be able to. Harsh.

It's actually kind of wild how into the older games young FE players are. Probably due to the majority of Popular FE youtubers liking the classic stuff

They're absolutely leaving money on the table by not giving us access to those games anymore, since kids are just pirating them

but I guess in a way that could be why FEH is so popular. Kids have easy access to the games, nintendo doesn't have to go hogwild legal mode on people who play the old fan translated games, and FEH can stay kinda of it's own fresh thing.

well 7 is perfect so it doesn't need a remake. I don't think 8 would gain much either. Obviously a 6/7 combined remake with a kid system and fleshing out the whole "morgan is marc" thing would be totes boss but that's just one of those things that might be better in my own head than in the actual product we would get.

but 9 could use an hd release and 10 could use a complete reworking to make it not suck shit in every metric.

I loved 10. Really enjoyed the story-telling and how it broke apart the party and then brought everyone together at the end. I would be happy if they just make the games available for modern consoles. It's really a wonder why 6 still has yet to make it to the West

First time hitting max rank, getting 7200 felt great. Don't know why I cared so much this time. Maybe it was due to the limited edition codes. Maybe I just wanted to squeeze out every orb.

FEH Pass is fucking broken in this mode and I don't get why it's allowed but oh well!

How did you abuse the pass? I just auto everything, but the success rate has been going down as more cancer enters the game

Gotta say this game is really making it difficult to enjoy.

Lull banner had Bernie!.... But it took forever to pull one copy. With a ton of 3* trash I've seen time and time again, and close calls (Pulls where I was forced to pull Red/Green and hope for no 5*) Thankfully I managed to pull one, but geez game. Can't you give me a generous banner for once? No need for repeated dry banners that don't pay out.

My Velouria and Keaton aren't getting much use. Have to pair them with dragon/beast units and I just end up using other units in AA. I've been debating about putting together an auto-team with Velouria, Nailah, Lilith, and Flying Sakura for TT

Velouria is pretty much just an Ares enabler for me which is fine. Keaton is a powerhouse though. I've got an attack boon one with DC/Vantage setup, and enough beasts to run two separate teams in AA.

I have enough beasts for two teams, as well, but I try not to use units that I use too often since they will have racked up a lot of HM. It's my way to do a little HM farming

I happened to get Edelgard and Ephraim in last month's banner and they've served me really well. My team for clearing content has been Tibird, Herons, and Caineghis for the longest time. Edelgard, Ephraim, Peony, and Flying Sakura are taking over now. HB4 isn't really necessary on Edelgard

So I've been sitting on my Fallen Hero spark for a while. Thinking I'm better off grabbing Ike for fodder rather than patching up the -Res bane on Lyon.

The question is who should I give Repel to if so, and is it worth the meme I'm thinking of?

HB4 is more of a nice to have since the seal is in high demand. It would be nice if the seal could be shared by different units as long as they don't enter the same map.

I'd rather have repel than fix the bane. I guess you got Julia? She's probably the most useful. Who would get repel?

I was lucky enough to get +Def/-Res Julia and +Atk/-Res Ike and Lyon and still have spark left! I've debating between getting Corrin for fodder or Julia to patch up her bane, but more importantly, give her more Atk. I will probably go for Nasty Julia because she is amazing

Yeah, Julia was nice enough to come +Res/-Def so she's golden.

I haven't decided 100 percent who to give Repel to.

But I really want to give it to Lloyd and see what he can survive with that(I'll have to put some stuff in the calculator). It would have to involve quite a bit of invisible stat stacking (+3 if foe is full health, +3 if near an infantry magic ally)

Granted I'd might have to switch out Distant Ward.

Also I have not seen Rhajat in ages, but now that I have Bernie running a TT+ she just keeps showing up. Not that she gives me any real issue, but she's harder to end turn on and she tends to run to the corner like a bitch and rally instead of moving forward.

Larcei is my only repel user, and she's +atk so I plan to use her. I'm not sure who else I could use it on. Valentine Alm would like it, but he can't really be merged

Rein has a +6 Atk buff, Lloyd has a -6 Red Debuff. Both max merges. Requires both effects of his weapon to kick in, but I'm really liking that he survives this(Even if barely). Can also just give him speed refine if I don't want to go through with having an infantry mage Nino near him. Though he loses 3 Res for 2 Hp. If Lloyd isn't debuffed, not even a +7 buffed Rein wins.

Not invincible of course. The likes of Ophelia and Lystheia still wreck him due to them having special charges ready to go more often than not.

Why would Lyon want Mirror Stance 3 over BD?

Colorless was already looking really attractive with Alm and Leif, and now we have a Mythic that can bend the rules of AR and is a nice change of pace from the usual KILL EVERYTHING

The stance skills are great because they protect him from specials. Lyon is most useful in AR, and blue buffs are not very reliable there with all the panic effects about.

That is true. If only he ignored debuffs. I replaced him with Nagi in one of my AR teams, but I haven't decided on an alternative A-skill. I do have an existing Osian I can give to him

I use Nagi in light season so I gave Lyon the Astra blessing.

I wonder how useful Mila actually is in AR. I think she needs DC to be helpful in combat. Isolation and the buffs she gives are nice though
