It's nice to see the GHB units getting refines again. Hopefully Valter isn't too far off.

It took 30 orbs to get a +Atk -Def Tsubasa. I'm tempted to try some more for Ephraim, but can wait for new banner info.

Back in January to coincide with the release of the Switch version of the game. Her banner replaced the Hot Springs banner so no big loss there.

So the Golden Week is... just tickets for the Picnic Banner? That's disappointing. Granted, I did managed to pull my -Spd Picnic Felecia a merge so that's nice.

On an unrelated note, "The Start of it all" banner can go fuck itself.

Picnic units? Asking for the tickets on the legendary banner or even the Start of it All banner must be too much to ask for.

I decided to go back in for Ephraim after seeing this, and got him with just ten orbs. I guess it all works out in the end

You can say this again. The banner refuses to give me Merric no matter how many orbs I feed it. I've gotten so many pitybreakers, the most egregious being Sue and Kana. I can at least use Lv 1 Sue in VG, Kana is completely useless because of bad IV's and being bad fodder. Then today, there was only one blue orb, and I thought, "That's going to be Palla," and it was >____>

I would have liked Palla to be anything other than ANOTHER blue flier because there are way too many of those and it feels stupid to put more than one on the same team. She is +ATK, so I feel compelled to use her. I'm not going through my backlog of game content to get more orbs and pray I get Merric

Ouch. It's silly that the special banners don't have the guaranteed 5* after 40 pulls.

Palla differentiates herself with the duo skill if you like to run fliers. She can delete units just as well as anything else with guaranteed quads.

I can't separate myself from the fiction enough to enjoy having a character that's just perpetually going through hell

I'm much more interested in the fact that Ashnard is going to be the GHB on the ninth (as per the in-game notifications). I'm not a fan of the fallen characters, myself, especially if they're making "new" characters like Ike (who never did anything like this in his game).

Still, both Lyon and especially Julia are tempting me with their art and skillset, but I kinda want to gamble on Edelgard's banner with the 59 orbs I currently have and see if I can get lucky with greens (any of them would be amazing).

Ashnard is likely a Axe Flier and we've already used up the yearly quota on good free Axe Fliers. He's going to need a lot of luck to defy the odds.

Yeah, I was about to bring up the fact that he has a huge sword in PoR. I just finished making my regular Caeda +10, but I hope he can fill a different niche than her (or at the very least, not be completely invalidated, as Cherche does to Haar).

Edit: I used my orbs and got my first Legendary Celica with 51 of them (though I used seven more to finish the circle). She's +DEF/-HP, but I'm glad to simply have her. Even though I now have exactly one orb, I could probably get enough orbs before the banner ends to get a guaranteed pull on the fallen banner, but I don't think I'll bother. The "fallen" thing always bothers me a little bit when it comes to characters I'm actually in control of, and I know that, even if I do get them, they'll probably just rot on the bench after a week or two of playing around with them, since I'm not going to be making them +10 any time soon (or ever, really).

Fallen Ike's voice gives me chills, I like it.

Lyon is very tempting to go for but I have no orbs right now.

Here's hoping Ashnard isn't trash. He probably has better chances than the other male fliers as of late due to which banner he's on, and likely being a sword instead of a lance or axe flier.

Well, not the most interesting selection of units, but they all seem pretty powerful, depending on stats. (And the end screen confirms there isn't a 4* focus in this banner, unsurprisingly). Pretty good time to spend 135 orbs and get to pick one.

I know most of you probably don't care about Voting Gauntlet but..

Nino just finished with 100 Billion points, that's the highest we've ever seen. Thanks to Nino and Nagi never suffering a Same Hell period.

Voting Gauntlet is a game mode that comes out periodically. Easy source of feathers and some orbs. I.. hope you didn't miss out on the most recent one just now...

And yes, free summoning tickets are only useful for the banner they're featured on. Use them or lose them.

Voting Gauntlet is the event that just ended. There are 8 character brackets and you join a team and try to help earn points for the team. There's a super powerful rubber band mechanic so the ultimate winner is mostly random.

The golden tickets are tied to a specific banner. If you don't use them before the banner end, you lose them.

Got Fomortiis on my 5th full circle. +Spd/-Res is bad but he still has 32 Res. Worse case I'll fix it in the spark, but I'm tempted to give a Fang one of those lv 4 solo skills.

The level four solo skills seem pretty tame compared to the other level 4 A skills.

I decided to go in for Lyon or Julia. 21 summons got Julia +atk - hp, Ike, Larcei, and Olwen. Halfway there for Lyon...I'll probably finish it but not now.

Yeah, that was my most fortunate banner in some time. The second half got me a second Julia, Hubert, and Mage Eirika +Spd.

Lull skills banner could be any of these. I doubt it will be Ephraim again, and Perceval + Claude have been on banner lately. Bernie has a decent shot.

Tobin and Clive of all things putting in work. I actually didn't try with a dancer and only tried a healer on my last attempt yesterday. Then today, I switched my left and right side teams from yesterday pre-healer and beat it. I used Forsyth, Duma, L!Alm, and Boey. Taught Duma Sol and Forsyth and Boey Drive Res as I was experimenting. I kept sending Forsyth down the left side and Duma and Boey down the right side when all I needed to do was switch them. L!Alm didn't do much other than Draw Back and attack once. I keep forgetting about Duma's ability to nullify FU's when he's below 100% and that saved his ass at the end against the last Takumi. It was definitely a great idea to give DC to Forsyth, he's the MVP

The game decided to throw me a bone again after the summoning mishaps and gave me a free Constipated Corrin. Getting rid of the other one's -Atk bane is very tempting, but I don't use her as much as I thought I would. Only use her in Rokkr Sieges mostly, but she did work in Saias's map. Think I'll hold off on merging because there are many units that would want her A-skill, such as Klein, who I've always wanted to +10 but have yet to do it

It's a pretty valuable A skill for healers since they don't get much else to work with. I don't think I'd give it to someone that I could just as easily use a decent budget skill. Why not use the new one instead of the old one? Unless it is also minus atk.

The Lyn map really shows how powerful the Jugdral units are. L!Leif and F!Julia cleaned it up pretty easily with a dancer.

To this day, I still don't understand the stringent restrictions placed on healers in terms of skill availability. They still won't get used in Arena even if they can use OP skills due to their low scoring. I gave Veronica Atk/Spd Push 4 and that's as premium as I'll go for a healer unless they release another one just as broken as her

First one I got is +Spd/-Atk, while the new one is +HP

Julia showed up just in time for that map. Her and Leif also cleaned house for me

Camilla and Veronica are basically the only healers I ever use. W!Eirika and V!Silque are sometimes useful for the buffs they can give. It'll be a matter of time before they release a legendary healer.

The merge is little tempting then, but you may as well wait on it.
