Something like Bloodborne is the best poised thing to be blowing out a casual bait. It's definitely legit, but I'm not scared for RE2 either.

UK had daylight savings time move our clocks forward an hour (of course sad acts like me are happy to stay up to 1am to vote, not like I need to commute in the morning anyway...).

I think I'd lean toward the latter after how badly Halo and Fortnite did, but it's certainly promising if you have Bloodborne winning multiple matches

Well, now we know that it's not an indie surge thing, it's just certain indies are (deservedly) well loved on this site.

Undertale winning in 2015 making 25% of this site so salty that they will never play it dooms it later on barring shenanigans or Octopath seriously sucking.

I mean, Deus Ex would absolutely destroy any of the other lower seeds today.

Bloodborne looks good, but CoD absolutely sucked in BGE3 as well, and those were the respected ones.

I like Inside more than DOOM and imo its a much better designed game than Doom. Even though in my bracket i choose Doom to win i voted now for Inside.

Also Call of Duty, for every 10 fans you have 2 haters at least LOL i never expect a game like that to go past round 1.

Not just the UK, but Europe as a whole. Even then, that's only around 15% of the site's userbase, so it wouldn't have the same impact as having these matches happening on the same day North America has their DST switch.

Yeah DST is behind the votals, look at the geolocation results. I am proud to be the reason INSIDE is winning in Ireland haha.

Edit: Also unless theres data Ive missed Europe would A) be more than 15% now as it was growing over time and B) the decline was less than 15%!

Europe was up to 17.89% in the last continent poll, but that was from 2013. We haven't had another continent poll since 2013, so we don't even know what Europe is currently at right now.

Still, there is a significant difference from 18% of the site having their DST switch in the same day compared to 71% of the site (North America). 18% of the site couldn't affect these early vote totals that much, while these lower vote totals would be possible with a North America DST switch.

That's why we should have actually had Skyward Sword, FFXIII, Mario 3D World, all the Pokemon in the bracket. They at least would have some midcarder (for this bracket) strength.

No, most games have something like 2 haters for every 10 fans. Here on GameFAQs, CoD BlOps has more like 20 haters for every 10 fans.

And no, Black Ops 2 is not vastly more popular than the original. It's a bit behind in terms of sales, and as a purely iterative sequel, didn't make nearly as much of an impact in general gaming spheres.
