Yeah, thanks again. Got every basic flower now! Today I got my first blue pansies and orange tulips sprouted.

My Nate is crafting orange hats and passing out the recipe. I guess I can open my gate to anyone who wants one. He's the left-most house.

I've found the bamboo island is great for making into a DIY scorpion/tarantula island, if you get it.

I'm told the DIY trick doesn't work in the Southern Hemisphere for Scorpions because we have a ton of crickets spawning in this season. Haven't tried it myself, and my attempts at farming for the "real" island have been unsuccessful. And now with the services upgrade I don't want to waste all my Nook points on tickets. :\

I wonder if I put down my 8th plot and don't find any good cranky or snooty today, if the game is more likely to pick one itself to help fill out my town's personality roster. I know it will absolutely pick a random villager to buy the plot if you don't invite someone, but I don't know how quickly it happens or if it takes personality distribution into account.

Also fuck Isabelle, my island is so much nicer than a 1-star.

finished mapping my current island in text doc form, converted to image through a python script

hopefully this shall be a useful tool in my island plannings... tho maybe I should convert to excel form instead of txt doc but that's easy enough now that my island is converted into a data form anyhow

... also maybe enlarge the tile size and use some better tiles but yeah we'll see

I've heard you can only get 1 other fruit from mystery islands. So like if your native fruit is Cherries and you find Peaches on a mystery island then peaches and cherries are all you're ever going to find on mystery islands. You can also find coconuts but those don't really count.

You just need to go to someone's island who has more more fruit.

I think I took around 10 trips to the island, and I didn't see a single cranky. I did get 5 snooties, though, so maybe now that I accepted one it'll shift to showing me crankies? Or maybe it's just weird luck.
