I'm pretty sure stars are basically infinite but you can only get 20 star fragments to wash up on your beach the next day. So maybe do like 30 or 40 and then you can stop.

Grats! I somehow did this in my first few days with the game, which is great because I've broken my chain SO MANY TIMES since then. I must've chilled out a bit too much.

Thanks! And yeah, I had an earlier streak of like 76 that I broke, and I think another that was likely coming close to that. It's a pretty big relief not to have to stress about it! (Which I wasn't on this streak until I made the mistake of checking and saw I was on 91...!)

It took another 8 trips today, but I finally found my first cranky villager, and thankfully I'm cool with him. Vladimir the vivid pink deep-voiced cub will be my 9th villager.

You guys hear about this way to essentially force Sturgeon to spawn on certain mystery tour islands? Basically if you can get all the rivers and ponds on-screen and stay there for a minute, the only place fish will spawn is off-screen, so a lot of stuff will spawn at the mouth. Only one more day to take advantage of this for sturgeon though!

another day another spider tour...... got two good islands for it too! one with just a pond, then one was a bamboo island which cleared out perfectly

.... that realization that the 1.248 mil house is exactly 4 full bags of spiders (8000 bells * 39 pouch slots * 4 trips)

If you mean bugs/fish, no. They cannot be traded/gifted/dropped to other people.

Its probably random, or perhaps they go in the one most recently built, because I had two empty ones up and the next villager moved into the second one I built
