wasps are the easiest bug to catch in the game

equip your net before you shake a tree, always shake any tree from the bottom, make sure the space to your left and right are clear, if a hive falls you will automatically turn and face it, then mash A and you will catch it literally 100% of the time

it's easy to do, but existing at all makes harvesting lumber kinda tedious

either i shake every tree first with my net ready or i just start chopping away and accept my sting

What are you going to do with them?

I like seeing my villager's houses with furniture. I've been adding more items to their houses. What's weird is that I started putting stuff outside the houses of my first villagers before even getting the request to do it for the new arrivals.

I already put the log table/chair into my house for now. I gave one of the outdoor tables/chair to a different neighbor who's already here. I'll decorate their houses/give furniture eventually but it feels weird when my house isn't very decorated yet.

Started up my bamboo forest and planted coconut trees all around the beach line. My island is coming together nicely, feel proud about it.

I wish I had placed my museum somewhere else though so I can have it's location be all orchards.

I'm in the same situation. I think I'm going to refrain from harvesting for a few days so I'll know what everything is...but it's too early for that because I need the money. Maybe in a couple weeks.

My box cut-off is 1000 bells. Anything under that gets boxed, hermit crabs and above get stacked outside the store until morning.

Yeah I'm still waiting on the Resident Services upgrade so I've had little to do toaday and yesterday. With so many more buildings to build soon and no access to furniture and services, I can't really do much terraforming and decorating. I've been focused on stockpiling fruit and deweeding the town for when that matters.

How many weeds grow each day? Im pretty sure Ive been finding two but maybe some are hiding, that seems pretty low for how big the island is

I've been leaving the tall weeds that have the little wildflowers, and every day it seems like most of them spawn a smaller weed next to them. So I get a bunch of new ones every day.

my island planning now has my outlining my acres with patterns

One actual convenient thing about the box is that it makes it much easier to find out how much individual items sell for (just selecting them rather than going through with selling them one at a time).

I just took the first 3 villagers I met on random islands like an idiot. My first new villager is Dizzy the elephant so he's pretty cool at least. I think I also found a duck maybe? Can't remember if I said no to him or not.

I found a mystery island loaded with hybrid tulips and brought a bunch back to my island. I planted ten black tulips, and now I have a near constant swarm of peacock butterflies that are worth 2500 each. It almost feels like cheating, im getting so many bells.

i was shaking down an orchard the other day running around when suddenly i noticed a tarantula racing through the trees towards me.... i whipped around and threw out my net but it was too late, he'd already gotten past it and took me out

so i respawned at my house and immediately ran straight back to that spot for some revenge

he killed me again before i saw him, and then i never found him again

this is supposed to be my casual relaxation after Tarkov wtf this is exactly the same
