i'm a customer service associate for Wawa, which is a fuel/convenience store. which, in these times, is listed as essential

Dunno yet. It's not indoors so maybe we're an exception, but if the customers aren't out there won't be much going on.

I work as a cook in the deli department's "orient" division within a grocery store. If a full shutdown happens, I still have to go to work, and have a pass to allow for travel between home and work during such a time (which is growing more likely as the days go by).

Yes. I will be going to work every day until this is over, or I get sick. The rest of the site is supposed to be shutting down but they still want security on site.

I do tires, big ass tires. We're considered an essential service so we won't be shutting down unless something really crazy happens.

I work in IT so were already set up to work remotely. My schedule has been basically the same, just with a little more sleep in the mornings since I dont have to drive in to work now.

As far as I know, I work Monday. I have no idea if I'll work the rest of the week, since the company I work for is playing it by ear at present ( car rental company).

Probably. I'min the Air Force. The base won't shut down unless two confirm cases happen on base.

I'm in tomorrow to help get everything shut down, but yesterday was the last day of being open for the bakery I work at. We're tentatively reopening in two weeks, but we'll have to see how that goes.

Last week starting on Wednesday, we were supposed to start a shift of two pools, with Pool A working remotely and Pool B working at the office. And then wed switch each week. That lasted all of 3 days. Now everyone is working from home, except for a skeleton crew.

(Im in Illinois, where all non-essential people must stay at home.)

They were even kind enough to email all employees a note verifying our place of work to show police if and when we're pulled over for violating the lock down (California)

I'm in my third week of working from home. Was overseas before that and before that I had the cold. I haven't been to work in almost two months

Was told today that our hotel is considered and essential business. Do we're staying open. Both managers have been put on mandatory 40 hours of front desk time though, so they've got to cut 80 hours out of the schedule. Told me that I'm one of the few they're keeping on, with as many hours as they get me. I'll still be losing a day or two, but nothing too major.

Yep only way I dont go to work ia if im off when a confirmee case hit a the unit. If im on duty when a confirmed case hita I could get locked in for 2 weeks.

My grandma has asthma, COPD, and a cancer survivor, so shes been worried and stays inside. But shes more worried about everyone else...

The work already involves little human interaction so it's generally been business as usual.

Partially, I only have to work 1 day this week if nothing strange happens.

Our local area has cut staff from about 1200 down to 5ish people. (Everyone still being paid though.)

One thing that my section is responsible for is critical, so we are sending in a small part of our staff each day on rotation to take care of what needs done.

I'm working from home for the next two weeks at least. Possibly longer.

I'm retired, so I don't work anymore (my eyesight is balls so there isn't much I can do) but I normally volunteer.

Except 4-5 months ago I had a mix up with my perscriptions that caused me to have problems for 2 months before we realized the problem, so I wasn't volunteering.

And then 2 months ago, I got Pnumonia and I have been home sick since then.

I just now am recovering, still have a bit of a cough mind you, but I have more energy and could go out and do stuff, actually eat out and enjoy it etc.

I could even volunteer again (it's been almost half a year) so I don't feel like I'm useless and not helping society at all.

But nope, I'm stuck in my basement, can't even socialize or go meet friends etc. At least I could play DnD through zoom, but I mean, this really sucks.

I shouldn't complain, it could be worse, but damn I would like to be able to get out and do something I keep fighting the urge of just getting in my car and driving somewhere.
