so xbox hooked me up with a swag jacket



you might have noticed that i have no pants on

and that's because the jacket takes your outerwear armor slot, and you don't get clothes unless you spend real money in this game, it seems. so i'm just pantsless.

so it turns out, i actually got suspended because microsoft completely fucked up the codes they gave out.

so at first, you'd claim the rewards but they wouldn't actually work in the game. so they took them down while they fixed them. then they came back, and they worked.

but as it turns out, after they came back, they actually gave you a completely new code. so, to sega and the game, it looks like you exploited and redeemed two codes for the item packages.

meanwhile, people were actually exploiting this by creating new accounts to get those codes. if you saw above, i actually was asking if anyone was going to use theirs so i could use another one, though no one ever gave one to me.

so even though i only got one reward package, the game thinks i got two due to a fuckup from microsoft, even though i did actually try and get more codes to use.

I don't like this latest season of My Hero Academia. It's moving too fast. They just got their license last season and now they're taking out the yakuza. They introduced chisaki, night eye, and lemillion, just so they can be killed/depowered.

Hero Academia:
Im quite the opposite, I was not crazy about quite a few arcs last two seasons but this season im loving every arc.

Bonus western animation:
I watched two episodes of Primal on Adult Swim's website.
Its about a caveman and dinosaurs and theres no talking whatsoever.
Its also very adult (heavy violence and tragedy) and it was written by same guy who did Samurai Jack.

the last season really kicked it up a notch animation wise. it was fairly stagnant and lazy before that one.

I've got gamer, gamer 2, and MMO but they aren't too hard to find free. I'll probably pass but it's pretty cool of you to give em out. The devs (winged cloud) are run by an absolute subhuman scumbag though. I assume the same guy still runs it, I haven't checked in for over a year.

Gamer was pretty good IMO, favorite hentai VN. Gamer 2 was pretty lame, big let down. MMO was ok but you are kinda forced into a lesdom role. Wasn't super into the choices it gave me.

I've tried to bring it up every chance I get. The guy makes scam companies, doesn't pay people, then closes the company and opens a new one. Winged cloud got enough recognition that he isn't ditching it but he still doesn't pay people what they agreed on and is presumably blackmailing the artist they use to keep working for them. He controls their twitter too. Real sketchy shit. I should really follow up on this though, I haven't paid much attention to it since around when gamer came out.

If I do get healthy, I intend to make competing products (light hearted yuri hentai VNs) so it's sort of important for me to pay attention. Hopefully that will fund my non hentai game development. It's tough to get that initial bit of money needed to hire an artist.

So Octopath Traveler is on sale for 50% off on the eshop right now, so it's $29.99.

The game's been on my radar for a while now and I was waiting for just this exact sale moment to buy it.

I also saw that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth goes on sale frequently (It's ending today though, just missed it) so I'm interested in that as well. But I kept hearing bad things about the translation quality of the game.

Anybody here who played it have any thoughts on the TL quality?

Yeah, if something is entertaining enough to you, you can kind of ignore shitty cgi.

I watched Darwin's Game since it finished. Was pretty fun and I wouldn't mind getting a second season of it. Back on Senran Kagura anime, so I can get it off of my list. It's better than I remembered, but it's not that great.

Apparently danmachi season 3 starting in july. Hell yeah. Still can't decide if it's a good show or a guilty pleasure but I'm happy to have more coming.

Also only like 1 week until tower of god starts.

Been playing Nioh 2 lately. I can only manage like 30 minutes at a time but it's still fun. Kinda cruising through the game smashing everything pretty easily. Heavy armor and odachi both seem really strong. It's kinda hard going back to base difficulty after doing so much abyss. Everything dies so fast and instead of dying in one hit I die like 10. A shame I have to wait months before Nioh 2 has finished releasing all it's DLC. I'll probably just end up rebuying it on PC instead in november. Game is fun though. An improvement over Nioh 1 main game almost across the board. Sadly nothing on the level of masamune or sanada yet.

Broke 100 eps into Conan finally. Been keeping two seasons of it around, for something to watch when I don't know what else to watch. I like to try guessing the culprit before the crime is committed.

There's just so many cases where the solution is heavily dependent on Japanese language or culture. A lot of the time it's impossible for someone non-Japanese to solve it..

Conan's nice watching when I'm doing something else but yeah, solving the case is optional for me. I usually just work backwards and predict a general outcome based on the flow of the plot (Conan is really predictable sometimes) then work backwards from there.

If it's looking like it's kanji shit or word puns, I give up.

I'll just see someone and be like "yup, that fucker did it". Some of them are tricky though. It's not a bad show to watch little bits of here and there though.
