I've liked Steyer for awhile now and appreciate when he gets the chance to talk. He's having a really good debate tonight and hopefully this leads to him being taken more seriously. I don't think he has much of a shot since he's a billionaire, but I think he could be a welcome player in the Democratic party and will be a strong ally for whomever he endorses when he is forced to suspend his campaign.

Make it simple. If you want it relieved, you have to join the national guard for 2 years or work for the Peace corps for a year or something. Simple.

Like, just tossing out money because "hey, you were irresponsible and you were irresponsible". Etc. Is just silly. Make them at least earn good will instead of Oprahing it out to people and expecting them to learn from it and not simple be enabled for it.

Tax the colleges with an endowment tax, and regular income tax. Distribute the wealth to people 21+ based on age - younger people getting more to reflect the higher cost of college when they attended or had the opportunity to attend.
