I don't actually post "tag" for the purpose of tagging the topic I do it to let the TC know that I intend on following the topic >.> --- Oh woops. Okay, so, first of all, sorry for the delay. I know I don't need to give explanations, but I'll do a quick one anyway.
As you may have known by now, my gaming experience throughout this decade was particularly... scarce. It doesn't help much that I have a really old PC and that I was waiting until having a more decent one to play many of the titles of this decade, so the good news is, I'm gonna have a brand new, gaming ready desktop (and a laptop as well)!... But the bad news is, it's gonna take until the 18th (just five days from now). That pretty much screwed me over... but not totally. In the meantime, I was thinking of what to do with my Guru nom. But before planning on delegating it or saving it for the next contest, I realized I had actually played more games this decade than I thought. Ironically, the game I've been playing the most throughout the past 1-and-a-half years is Undertale, but I'm not feeling like back-stabbing my precious board like that (or in any way), so I searched for more titles. Ultimately, as far as being the games I most enjoyed (aside from Undertale, of course), it came down to 2 games: To the Moon, and Super Meat Boy. I considered both really badly, and both games are so different from one another: To the Moon's a beautiful and soothing experience, while SMB is the bad boy of the hood, with mindless (yet super fun) action. I also considered a nom that would not be turbo-fodder, nor too popular, as we all know. so my choice for Guru nom is... Super Meat Boy I Wanna Be The Guy is one of my all-time favorite games, and when I found out that SMB had similar characteristics, I was eager to give it a try. I wasn't able until just recently! So yeah, good timing. I feel like SMB is gonna be super recognizable and have decent strength, maybe even winning a match if it gets paired up well enough. At least I think it will be stronger than To the Moon, which I think is not quite the game for everybody.
