Senate race is different than presidential race. Both of those senators campaigned far to the left of the national party. Neither belonged to the tea party. West Virginia and Alabama have a democratic senators and will never ever ever ever vote for a democratic president regardless of how big the wave was. Other reasons why you don't know what you're talking about.

Also, notice I didn't say a Reagan style landslide was possible for the Democrats - it's much easier for the Republicans. History shows that the only 49-state landslides we've had were both for the GOP. There's a lot of rock solid GOP states with low populations so they don't affect the national popular vote all that much but they prevent any Reagan style landslide for the Dems.

Of course it's possible. If removing the President will lead to a worse alternative. You could be removing a perjurer and replacing him with a warmonger, for instance.

Of course it's still possible in theory that removing such a president could have a worse outcome, but that scenario isn't one I'm going to be losing much sleep over.

Yeah under that definition I would agree. But then it would not be justified to impeach either Bill Clinton or Donald Trump.

I was using justified in the sense of, has the person committed high crimes and misdemeanors? And with that lower bar, you need to consider the country's interest in listening to the will of it's people. The people are entitled to elect a criminal after all. It is their absolute right.
