Don't say that like it's an international thing, most of the delaycast get simulcasted in other regions, too. Even Canada got Violet Evergarden day and date. This is exclusively an American problem.

Like I said I am saddened by some of the cuts from the manga but I think it does a well enough job and it does cool directing things that the manga couldn't have the ability to, like using the mirror in that one scene

I think this is going to be one of those situations where the anime itself is perfectly fine on it's own, but as a manga reader I'm just gonna be upset the whole way through. Kind of like Bokurano, though I wouldn't say the Bokurano anime is that good in a vacuum either.

High School Prodigies Ep1 - MC is the PM of Japan. Ninja girl is a reporter. MC too weak to eat after being isekaid so elf girl tongues some food into his mouth. MC doesnt react to elf girl at all, but reacts to dog girl having a tail and ears despite elf girls ears being very long. 1 month time skip already so you dont see how the other 6 react to the situation. I guess theyre all friends though or possibly skipped over them becoming friends since they seem to know each other. Was ok overall I guess. Ninja girl has a good design at least.

Bookworm Ep1 - Well this was sadly boring. All the main girl cares about is books and not really in an endearing or entertaining way so shes just dull. The whole first episode is mostly just her complaining about not being able to find books.

Ahiru no Sora Ep1 - Almost no basketball in my basketball anime premiere. All the guys who arent the MC look too old to be in high school and most of the episode is the main guy being bullied for being short, but maybe it will get better when they actually play basketball

MHA openings have always sucked imo.
