Screw the Republicans. Just cut out them of climate change decisions. For over 15 years it's been "NO CLIMATE CHANGE ITS NOT REAL" so much that my Dad still spouts and votes against anyone that even mentions Climate Change. Now that it's probably too late to even do anything they want "middle of the road"? They always want middle of the road because it's basically doing nothing. It's the strategy of poisoning someone and just waiting till they die, now that the poison has nearly run it's course they feel it's safe to start saying maybe they might do something one day if they don't have a headache and the world is still there.

But really, Democrats never get anything done because they don't understand how to close a deal. You have to give the other side something they want. And you have to get something you want. Democrats invariably can't seem to grasp that you need to do both of these to get a deal. So they start by offering nothing and end by getting nothing they want.

For instance, how about funding the wall in exchange for action on climate change? Trump at least will be interested. He might counter with fund the wall, repeal Obamacare, and add Trump to Mt Rushmore, and you can haggle from there.

Uh he has already been convicted and given a sweetheart deal because he, you know, has lots of blackmail over powerful people. His team of lawyers included Alan Dershowitz (himself accused of assaulting a child at Epstein's home and on the logs for the Lolita Express) and the DA that approved the deal is Trump's labor secretary, Acosta (who is now literally in charge of agencies that are meant to prevent human trafficking). His prison sentence was basically a joke. He pled to two felonies in state court, in exchange for immunity from federal prosecution for anyone involved and the records were all sealed as part of the deal. Not to mention "Unlike other convicted sex offenders, Epstein didnt face the kind of rough justice that child sex offenders do in Florida state prisons. Instead of being sent to state prison, Epstein was housed in a private wing of the Palm Beach County jail. And rather than having him sit in a cell most of the day, the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office allowed Epstein work release privileges, which enabled him to leave the jail six days a week, for 12 hours a day, to go to a comfortable office that Epstein had set up in West Palm Beach. This was granted despite explicit sheriffs department rules stating that sex offenders dont qualify for work release." But these are new charges. Presumably they found new evidence of some crime that was not covered in his previous charges.

It was stated under oath that Trump was an associate of Epstein, had flown on the Lolita Express, and Epstein pled the fifth when asked if they had socialized together in the presence of underage girls. There is also the accusations of Trump walking in on the underage Miss America contestants dressing rooms.

So yeah, slim chance anything ever happens because rich people don't ever get justice served, but just know that all conservatives are defending a man who rapes kids.
