Please provide a list based on the question in the title.

Exclude Mini-series (like Band of Brothers), shows with only 1 season (like Freaks and Geeks), and on-going shows (like Game of Thrones).

And Im not talking like oh yeah, I think Ive seen most of those. Like Im pretty sure Ive seen almost every Seinfeld episode, but cannot say definitively so that wouldnt be included.

I just googled seasonal anime. It simply leads to a bunch of message boards with people posting their favorite seasonal animes or whats coming up.

I still have zero clue what a seasonal anime is. Is it just an anime show that is written in seasons? Is that not the norm? I pay no interest to anime, manga (sp?), Jpop, Kpop, Imported and dubbed video games. None of that interests me.

So, as I asked before, I would you explain what a seasonal anime is and how its different from non-seasonal anime? Because my first thought when you say Seasonal is theres an anime about the Christmas Season and another one about the first flowers of spring or the leaves changing color.

seasonal anime is just the concept that people started watching anime week by week. Back in the "old days" people would go back and watch Anime that had aired years ago, or would "binge watch" past seasons of an anime.

Everyone is already caught up and just watch whatever is airing in the current season unless you want to get into one of the longer running Anime.

TV have the same concept. I watch TV purely week-by-week. I do not go back and watch old series or episodes of a show. My "currently watching" is always a pool of currently airing shows which get shifted in and out several times a year.

I had started a spreadsheet about this but I seem to have misplaced it.

The seasonal concept has no concept of "binge" as if you wanted to watch it, you've already watched it.

The only times I haven't finished a series if if it gets cancelled in its first season, or I drop it in its first season.

So basically all of them fall into my excluded category of on-going shows.

Because of your personal habits, you probably arent ideal for the topic, but I really do appreciate that explanation.

Did people have to start from the beginning of anime series because of lack of availability? I would imagine the first stuff was probably circulated on vhs before the internet became fast enough to share bigger data.

Yes, seasonal viewers only watch ongoing series. This is because they discuss the episodes weekly as their air. It is basically the opposite of binge watchers.

I could list you a dozen or more different shows I've watched over the past 10 years where I've seen every episode, and a more that I have watched every currently aired season of. I'm not even counting one-off series which I probably don't remember like that Sci-Fi where they created the fake spaceship to research how people would fair in space.

I only started watching anime in 2004-2005 when you could get things easily online. That was before the seasonal concept really started tho. Seasonal anime started around the time waifu-style animes started poping up, probably around 2007-2009.

I barely have an understanding of what a waifu is let alone waifu-style animes, so I appreciate you including the years.

I wasnt trying to insult you before I had just highlighted to exclude one-offs (which Im assuming you mean 1 season or a mini-series) and ongoing series.

It seems like the ongoing anime comprise the bulk of your viewing, so those wouldnt be qualify here.
