Definitely not.

Millions of years of evolution isn't going to magically disappear within someone's lifetime.

Humans have evolved complicated brains that have allowed us to rise above all the other animals on the planet. However, this complicated brain came with a great cost: we are fucking insane.

Most humans require the belief in powers beyond themselves in order to get through the day. Even if it's just some abstract shit like "fate" or "destiny" or "some higher power"....we don't even have to give it a name. We just need something to believe. We often give it a name or a face so it's easier to identify with and communicate with. These become our Gods. Even if it's just some spirit animal, or a cloud God, a sun God, a moon God, something.....we've always needed something. Always. We have to professionally lie to ourselves to give answers to questions that have no answers.....otherwise we won't be able to sleep at night.

Because pretty little lies are much better than the painful, empty truth.

Belief in Gods isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It's just going to shift around a bit and be called different things.

I watch a specific stream every week where people donate well over a thousand dollars to this speciifc person, not counting Patreon and ad revenue.

Twitch is equally as crazy. You are looking at 50-60% from Subs (where even small time streamers can have 200-500), ads and also that Patreon money.,

The Youtuber "Sargon of Akkad" makes over $150k/yr in just Patreon money to do nothing but spout hate filled rhetoric, frequently not having any idea what he's talking about (especially anything about American politics).

I liked Sargon when he was one of the few people brave enough to call out racism against whites while staying level-headed about it, now he's just sort of focused on it to the point of using it to smear the entire left. He's somewhat bitter and nonsensical.

There were also the couple snippets where he took jabs at Jewish people that I found weird, I use to brush that off as his disrespect for things PC, but he has commented about being "woke".

It depresses me when he gets 300k views a video talking about SJWs biweekly while anti-lobbyist political channels that spout endless coverage of obvious corruption in the system get jack for attention, and these same "progressives" are just stereotyped as whiny kids.

Millennials have the same hard-wired human instinct to blindly believe in faith-based assumptions and fall lock-step into the hierarchies established by other people, they've just chosen different things to jerk themselves off to.

Religions are flawed because people are flawed. Doing away with religion solves absolutely nothing because you're still left with the flaw.

We know politicians are corrupt and it's depressing, SJWs on the other hand are hilariously inept so there's humour to be drawn from their antics.
