Judging the validity of a roster based on the character select size is really dumb. There've been multiple Smash games where the select screen hasn't been perfectly even, it would be uneven anyways once DLC characters are added, and it wouldn't make the slightest amount of sense for them to create characters with the intent of balancing the select screen.

Like have people never looked at a Sakurai-produced games menu? Symmetry is not even close to a concern for him. I wouldnt be surprised if he specifically pushes for asymmetry

I really want to know what the Brawl CSS looked like before they added Sonic. Would they have just moved random up one spot and put an empty space next to Lucas or would they have rearranged it?

CSS spacing doesn't matter. What might matter is that a while back a magazine leaked that Smash Ultimate would have 108 stages, which is currently 5 more than have been revealed. If there are 5 newcomers from new series, each one would have their own stage, right?

This was a promotional video from ACP-PLV (company that the leaker works for) showing how the production of their products are done. The video was starting to be passed around as Pro Leak news, as based on the video it would've been impossible to create a fake printout using real promotional material stock as a base.

Just yesterday, it was deleted from both YouTube and the company's official website.

Not sure if you guys have seen the latest update or not so here you go:

Back in September someone noticed that the banner had a weird spot where Little Mac's fist was cut off. It was fixed but now it lines up almost perfectly with the Grinch leak.

Here's a gif showing the weird cropped banner and the leak with Isaac:

So if the banner is fake they went to a lot of effort on where to put Isaac to match up with Little Mac's fist.

They could have fixed it later, but I would like to know the source of the original flawed banner instead of just hearing that the banner had a badly cropped Mac secondhand. I can't find any evidence of that.

Those bad crops likely don't mean anything, since they've been happening the entire time, apparently. It doesn't seem to be because anybody is being removed. It's mainly because the thing is basically set up in panels and said panels get moved around to add new ones in. It's mainly happened any time characters got moved over for a new one. There's a bunch of examples around the internet.

The Little Mac instance is likely because of him being moved over for Isabelle, not because somebody in Olimar's spot was removed.

A good while ago Sakurai mentioned in an interview that he bought a toy robot/mech specifically to use the gun as a guide for something in the game.

This made people assume Elma or whoever, but it also makes sense if he was using it to give Mach Rider a slightly less realistic looking gun, since he's been wanting Mach Rider in for awhile

New development - mariotehplummer may be the mastermind behind this whole thing, in which case the "nobody would go through this amount of effort to troll people" thing is out the window (this is the guy who bought over 150 Rosalina amiibo so her fans couldn't get them).

Apparently he posted a video on YouTube the day before the leak went public with this exact roster. And there's no way that loser has inside connections.

Edit: people are saying he is Chad Ganondorf, which further buries this.

LEAK IS REAL: Somebody took a picture of Eric's workplace lmao

LEAK IS FAKE: Alright guys hear me out hear me out. Somebody posted on 4chan in September and he thought his roster was perfect so he started his masterplan. He first started working on a banner by cutting out every character with precision and keeping the assets. He drew the empty spots in the mural. A month before, he had noticed the exact places where the banner cut so that he could place the characters in these cuts. His work done, he proceeded to look at videos on the internet about marketing and how cardboard cutting companies worked. He landed on a french company and called there to speak to one of the lead designers. He then checked his LinkedIn to make sure that guy had also worked at companies that have dealt with Bandai Namco before. He simulated a workplace along with the tools, printed on receipt papers Autocad commands, photoshopped the marketing blueprints and stamped his mural on there. He then bought plastic paper to make bracelets and designed bracelets with his mural on it. He put industrial adhesive plastic on both sides to make it look more believable. He made more than one bracelet and hid two of them next to the central one under paper on the off-chance that we would look there to find it. When that was done, he looked at the project and asked some friends. They said it wasn't believable enough. In shambles, he got an idea. Of course! The Grinch movie! He started designing renders and keychain-like things with the Grinch in a giftbox on it and put them next to the whole project. He then wrote the name of the employee, making sure that he put enough pressure to make an indentation on the paper so that 4chan could find it. He did one sharpie strike on the upper half and then two sharpie strikes on the lower half so that people would believe he really tried to cross out the name but not quite enough. Then, this absolute madman took a picture and showed it to his friend again. His friend said: ''Nah man, it looks fake, you can't just post that on 4chan''. Destroyed once again by his keen-eyed friend, he got another idea: What if I created another Snapchat and then send it to myself as a video and then take a screenshot. So he did, and then he went on 4chan and posted the picture there, praying, PRAYING that they would bite and that he would get at least 25 (You)'s. Disregard the fact that people with ties to Nintendo are acting extremely weird, please, that's totally irrelevant.
