IS doesn't have faith in their franchise. They just don't. That's why they keep spamming these alts, or they throw in alts out of nowhere.

Leif banner? No faith, so they sneak in Rein/Olwen alts.

New Awakening banner? Better throw in Olivia.

.... The sad thing is that they apparently don't even have faith that the Corrins can sell the banner by themselves. No, they had to throw in Camilla who fits in about as much as NY!Camilla did.

Expect a Hector/Roy alt in the FE6 banner, and Ike or Micaiah for the RD one if this keeps up.

Something I've always wondered is how popular each banner actually is. The promo video for these types of banners keep getting lots of dislikes and players seem very vocal about their dislike as well. However, the banners keep coming anyways. Maybe the banners are actually super popular with more casual players that don't speak up much and that's why they keep happening. Or maybe there's like one super Fates fan that constantly spends six figures on every Fate banner or something.

it definitely can't be the last one. even +10ing 4 different characters and getting a bunch of extras for fodder would maybe barely take five figures, probably not even.

Give me a banner with any 4 new Fates characters and I'm probably interested. The bad characters are by and large the ones that are spamming the game. The minor characters are actually decent.

Give me Orochi Reina Benny and Shura that'd be awesome. All the orbs.

Heck even alts for the characters that aren't the main characters from those games would be somewhat appreciated.

Not that my opinion matters much to them as I'm not spending another dime on this game till they make the duel skills as seals or on 3-4* base rarity non cash grab units but you know.

Pockets of the internet like here and the FEH subreddit are absolutely echo chambers when it comes to opinion on Fire Emblem, and perpetuates the idea that the playerbase are outraged over Awakening/Fates having more content than older games. Whilst we'll never know the specific numbers, I'm sure this banner will do very well because the casual population that doesn't comment on the game will silently lap it up.

That's 4 of the Top 5 characters (by CYL2 ranking) who aren't in the game (Panne is 3rd). Also the hardcore players have been asking for beast units for a while.

I actually do consider the two Robins to be different characters. Robin F seems to be a bit more silly in general in her supports compared to Robin M. Not that either one is 100% serious business, and not that they're not very similar, but I feel they're similar but distinct. I can probably tell you more differences between the two of them than a lot of low development pairs of similar role characters in other games.

Grima's sketch too because it's a completely different third personality/character. Grima M + Grima F would probably be a set of Grima alts, honestly.

Not sure about Corrins as I haven't played the game with both of them. I'm skeptical they're all that different just because Corrin has poor writing in general and I can't name as many traits of him in general but eh.

Point is I don't agree Robin should have all his/her stuff pooled for those discussions. Someone who is a fan of one type of Robin might not be a fan of all the other types unlike with someone like Lyn or Camilla.

The difference between the two Corrins is along the same kind of line as Robin really, roughly speaking. Male Corrin in generally more straight-laced whilst female Corrin is more mischievous in her supports.

And for me in particular I guess the big reason I talk about this is because I actually do draw for Robin F stuff and not so much Robin M. Like I'd totally have a standard Robin F at +10 if I could actually draw her and she wasn't GHB exclusive-- don't even have a single Robin M at 5* (aside from Christmas Robin)

I also probably exaggerate their differences a bit cause my Robin M PC in Awakening looked totally different (and I renamed him) whereas my Robin F PC looked very similar to the standard "canon" Robin (by complete coincidence) and I left her name Robin (again, pure coincidence). But yeah. I still imagine you're going to get at least some portion of fans who don't consider them identical for fandom considerations whereas your standard costumes you're really not.

2200 Grails to get 8 more copies of Marisa. That will probably take well over half a year to earn based on what they showed for rewards.

Also Book 3 is coming in December.

It looks like we'll get 40-50 Grails per week based on score and maybe as much as 30 for Rank. That's about half a year to get 2200 to get 8 copies of a character. Although, I doubt I will be anywhere near the top of the ranks.

Luckily some units were given multiple new copies so some can be +10 before the full 8 is collected. Hopefully they also give out grails via quests to hasten the grind.

Guess I have a reason to hold onto my feathers. Or at least make sure I don't burn out completely.
