Xuxon said you lose 80 for losing a defense battle outright, but it's only the first one each day, so you'll make small headway by doing matches daily if you have the bonus unit.

My plan is to get up to 200 Aether while right below the cutoff then start playing normally.

I mean Ive done all the things required to get achievements but they arent unlocking on google play. I assume this is pretty common and theres a way to work around it?

Not really sure since I've been playing since launch, but I know after completing them, I think I've always had roughly a month to redeem them. Maybe that time limit was always from the time they were released in the game and not upon completion though?

Edit: Oh, I realize now this is about Google play achievements and not the mynintendo rewards things. Not sure how I misread that.

Yeah I dunno I always get em. You may need to link with a club Nintendo account or whatever?

If it makes you feel better, I just looked at my googe play achievements and I also have 0/32. I think that's the first time I've ever looked at them for any game though, so I can't really help there.

I think you need to spend money on the game for it to recognize that your Google Play account even exists.

At least that's how it worked for me. Bought the Black Knight $5 box and a bunch of achievements popped.

That rare rare moment when you see someone capable of doubling Nino without a breaker/brave weapon.

Ylgr with 45 base speed + Speed chill knocking Nino's speed down by 7, and then Sylgr giving her 4 more speed for a total of 49 speed... which is raised to 53 speed thanks to Helbindi buffing her

I mean, Nino one shot her on the counter attack but still not used to seeing x2 against her.

The more I play this aether mode the more I dislike it because every actual difficult team to beat on offense heavily abuses horses. Is it possible to make good defense teams without abusing horses I'm not sure.

I've heard that some people have been making Infantry Pulse based defense teams that try to nuke you if you let the enemy attack your first.

Horses are easymode. Just have one person on your team with Panic Ploy and they crumple. Stacked Dragons are the toughest to deal with.

They don't crumple because you have Veronica who can't be counterattacked, a repositioner, reinhardt, a dancer, and all 3 can attack one square which is the only way in. Like hell the one that just gave me a major headache didn't even use Hone Cavalry

Like if you think they're easy you're probably just facing poorly constructed teams that have horses on them, which there are many, but I'm just saying the only actual difficult teams to face have them because they're the only ones who can feasibly get 3 aggressors onto any square you approach from

Both statements are pretty much on the mark.

Panic Ploy makes horses free because lol -6 to vital stats and 90% of horse spammers are shit at team building(That's why they're playing Easy Mode. Well, one of them.)

Actual good horse teams is pretty cancerous though. As are actual good dragon teams.

I find dragon teams a lot easier to deal with because they can't GHB style defense you as hard so you can feasibly spread them out a bit. Actually killing them can be a pain but yeah

Team Roy ended with 5 territories. Granted I only played every 8 hours, but come on guys....

I haven't been playing as much as I used to in general because I'm in the middle of hoarding so for the most part it's just dailies, wondering if the Legendary banner will be worth pulling on, and wondering what the inevitable Christmas banner will be like.

Felicia and Sheena can generally wall off even danced horses, especially Panic Ployed ones. Veronica gets a lot less scary when you throw someone with good Res at her and realize that she's more annoying than lethal.

Veronica herself isn't scary but she is chip that lets Rein or random Melee Horse (Bonus Unit Legendary Eirika with her bonkers bonus stats if you're unlucky) follow up and kill. I find it much more annoying than baiting stuff in arena because the AI will never screw itself over with movement abilities unlike in arena where they can screw their own formation up

If they're bad and run hone cavalry you can tank a ton of attackers cause they spot you stats but basically the problem is you can position Veronica + Rein at an L formation behind a melee horse and they can all hit the same square. With a dancer helping as well you can't really tank all that with much anyone easily.

Like Serra's res p high so I'm not lacking there. It's more complicated than you're letting on when you face one that's well constructed because you need to survive two or three mixed type hits which is hard for most tanks.

Anyway I don't mind losing once in a while I just dislike that horses are the only challenging teams I've seen. Particularly because I don't want to run horses on my defense

And this makes me sad because I could +10 Sheena(Granted she'd be my third green maxed out in a row...) but I lack Distant counter.

And I can't for the life of me pull good Iv Felicias. (What is her best "nature" typically?)

291 orbs currently. Part of me wishes these "Here's something to tide you over until Book 3!" banners weren't so boring to me, but I'm also glad I've gotten motivation to horde up again.

fuck i fell asleep and missed doing aether raids. was kinda lazy the past couple days and had almost 200 built up aether, too. at least i hit tier 12 but i might have had enough to hit 13 (179/200).

I forget, does having the bonus structure do anything for your score? Or do you just need the bonus unit on your offensive team?

it's more annoying that both arena and AR close for 8 hours which is the time period where i usually play. it shouldn't need to be more than 3 max.

Bonus structures only give a bonus level to the Offense and Defense Fortress. That means you are missing out on +4 in all the non-HP stats if you don't have it. Bonus structures have no effect on Lift but good luck to your defense team if they don't have the bonus defense building.

Damn, Healing Tower would have to cost 100 stones. I'm at 360 right now so I'd like to get a 5th party member on my offense team. Don't really need the healing tower but +4 stats isn't insignificant.

You get 20 stones a day for the first 2 days. You can get both the party slot and healing tower by day 2. You just need to decide which one to go without for Day 1.

new colorless is what we assumed a couple months ago when all the other colors had confirmed returners for this banner, but then Grima was also confirmed for this banner last month and we realized it would either be a 5-legendary banner or a no-new-legendary banner. so that no longer gave him any reason to be colorless instead of red.

IS's perpetual middle finger pointed at colorless is beyond aggravating. The lack of colorless refines and STILL no new colorless LH is something no one can understand

Yeah it's pretty baffling. To be fair, the colorless CYL option was the best choice both times. But that in no way makes up for nine straight months of Grimas.

Anyway, this banner is kind of boring, and Hrid's weapon seems a little too situational. Guess I'll keep saving up for January.

Oh, I read Hrid's weapon wrong, it gives him "breaker" status when the enemy has a negative effect, not him. Never mind, that's pretty good actually, maybe I will snipe red and blue.

Yeah I missed out on AA too today. I spent most of my morning yesterday mad rushing regular Arena, went to work, and by the time I got home it was already past deadline.

Honestly just get an easy 7 match AA early in the week even if you plan on doing a tryhard 7 streak later. It's safer that way. I'm okay with my 50k-70k rating that I get 90% of the time by starting with a group of 40s and doing 7x Easy Fights.

Also the +4 stats applies for offense as well as defense right?

Granted my defense might need it more.

There's a different bonus building for offense and defense. They give a bonus level to the associated Fortress which in turn gives you stat boosts.
