A Shocking poll released shows that HALF of Japanese Men and Woman under the age of 40 are VIRGINS because they don't have time to date or prefer alternatives such as PORN and SEX ROBOTS!!

44% of unmarried women and 42% of unmarried men in Japan were self proclaimed virgins and 70% of 18-34 aged people were SINGLE!!

The government is desperately battling an aging and SHRINKING population as they try to increase the birthrate by showing "The Feed. Sex in Japan: Dying for Company"

The main reason for sexless people is that they are working long hours and with low job security, they don't have time to have sex or find a date or too TIRED to have sex!

26 y/o Taiyo Hashimoto is one of those in the friends and the hands club who finishes work at 7PM and works overtime every day. He stays at work until the last train home at midnight and rarely socializes as he rather drinks with his boss afterwards. This. Japan is a terrible place to live. You work until you die, and you're expected to show an almost religious devotion to the corporation you work for, despite the fact that they see their workers as disposable drones, just like every corporation does. I wouldn't have any energy for dating if I lived there either. And I definitely wouldn't want to raise a child in that slavish culture. It shouldn't surprise anyone that their birthrate is so low.

I don't, at least not in our lifetimes.

The U.S. is still one of the only first world countries with positive population growth when you exclude immigration. Japan has the one of the lowest population growths of any country (and almost no immigration to make up for it). There are other countries more likely to become Japan in that respect before the U.S. does.

Also, as far as work life, while it is true we are one of the only countries with a 40 hour work week and very low unemployment, that doesn't mean work is our life. If anything, companies nowadays are starting to reduce the workday or offer 90 minute paid lunches.

Whether it's an SO, or just hooking up with someone. Other than that, I don't see too many problems as a whole. The payoff is, well, usually a good orgasm. Not exactly. Since we're salary instead on wages, we technically get paid lunch. But it's up to who ever is in charge of you to decide that. Sometimes, we would get enough time to get take out from the chow hall. Other times, we could go to a sit down restaurant. Typically, it's suppose to be about an hour, though...

Honestly, this entire post says a lot. Sex is hardwired into our brains through thousands of years of evolution. Even though it's not necessary now for everyone to reproduce for the survival of the species, guys have the natural urge to propagate themselves. This is also why men handle rejection so poorly. It's a deep rooted sense that your bloodline wont be carried on

I wish more people would embrace the solitary/sexless lifestyle. It's healthier and safer. Especially when you are younger (high school/college years).

Sadly, nature programmed our bodies to be in their physical prime....while our brains are still quite immature and ridiculously unstable.

Kids in high school that have 10 sexual partners or more before they graduate are absolutely disgusting, in my opinion. No concept of what love, loyalty, or even basic empathy are. Yet they have no problem engaging in an activity that quite literally creates life.

Young couples having babies.....that ultimately end in a nasty break-up, and now you got a kid with major reactive attachment disorder. Mom's bringing home a different boyfriend every month (because that's all she knows), and dad is barely in the kid's life because he hates his ex.

You need to be alone for a while and figure out who you are. Why are so few people capable of handling that?

It also speaks volumes of your insecurity if you are incapable of being single for extended periods of time.

American culture is almost disturbingly OBSESSED with sex and relationships. If you don't have either of those things....you might as well go kill yourself, because you are a "loser" apparently.

Safer maybe. Healthier? If you mean physically... by and large most people dont get STDs despite high school health teachers telling you that you are guaranteed to get aids if you have sex.
