I am sick and avoiding being online today because staring at screens will only make it worse, so there are two options

So l3fty out of curiosity was it a summer cold like me or something more sinister?

I'm so pissed that I not only went almost the entire summer without getting down with the sickness, but that when I finally did it started hitting me in the middle of DragonCon. The fucking worst.

You know... in my youth I always questioned why anybody would come to a convention while sick and risk infecting hundreds of thousands of people, but now I realize nobody wants to pay exorbitant money in advance just to rest at home for three days.

Despite everything I still had a blast. That was my favorite DragonCon- probably even my favorite Con experience ever to date.

The path of a middle priority is a difficult one, as Rufus has spent the last decade or so dealing with. He's never quite managed to string together top half performances, just narrowly missing it in that XVI-XVII-XVIII string, and he has only two other placements in the top 50%. Rufus falls from 45.53% to 43.90%, and thanks to the middle of the rankings being tightly notted, drops 8 spots to 66th.

Relm is one of those characters that always managed to hang on for another year, but was never really a threat to do much of anything. In seventeen appearances, only three have made it to the top half, with her lone top 10 coming in the madness that was CXIII. That said, Relm's been around long enough that it takes a lot worse than this to really drag her down. She only takes a quick drop from 38.18% to 37.52%, holding steady at 78th in the STATS.

Quistis's tale is one of streaks - after a solid start, she proceeded to fail to reach the top half in her next five appearances, including two boots. Then she returned and rattled off five consecutive top hald appearances... only to then string together four bottom halves. Thanks to that general back and forth, Quistis's STATS are fairly middling, so she only drops from 44.78% to 43.80%. Of course, that happens to be one of the most tightly-packed sections of the STATS, so that small loss is enough to drop her a full 8 places to 67th.

Aside from her quick boot two years ago, Beatrix has generally done well enough, although her strength seems to have delcined somewhat of late. In her first twelve appearances, Beatrix reached the top half ten times. In the subsequent five, she's only managed to do that once. (If only there were a stat for that...) his placement pushes Beatrix down from 58.60% to 56.92% and drops her two spots to 34th.

Red XIII is the most correct wrong guess - his top placement is 14th, but he has the same number of STATS appearances because he hasn't been eliminated yet
